Visited today on a whim as my daughter and I had driven by this place several times. The store was EXTREMELY clean staff was super friendly and offered their assistance when needed. My daughter found quite a few items. Lots of great brands and at decent prices. Definitely would go back. Thinking about bringing some of my items and hopefully feel that the offer is reasonable.

I was offered $7 for a pair of brand new Steve Madden possession sneakers and a new sweatshirt with tags. I went to Plato’s and was offered $40 for those same items. You come out better selling items online if they are not designer items. The midtown location they closed was way better .

Came shopping with my sister, for back to school. We live in Huntersville and came to a few stores in this area. We had a great experience!
Thank you so much to Savannah. We literally had 4+tubs full of clothes to try on. She helped us when we were handing them to hold the clothes, she helped us in the dressing room. We ended up staying a little after closing due to still trying on clothes. She was patient with us.

Based on my personal experience, those of my friends, and some of the other reviews on here, I'm convinced that this location just doesn't accept items from Black people. I've brought high-end and popular brand items to this location on several times (hoping a previous time was a one-off) only be told that they won't accept my items. The last time I went, I asked why it wasn't accepted and the salesperson said with a straight face "well, some of the items were gently used". Well, duh, of course they are, it's a resale shop. That was all I needed to know. If you're Black, do not patronize this place.

Black? You don’t think it is possible that I could own a designet purse? Then when I was exiting the store she started discussing and laughing with her colleague! Very childish!

Clothes Mentor Arboretum is my favorite clothing store and has been for many years. Virtually all of my clothing is from this or the Rock Hill, SC store. Friendly staff, great clothing, amazing sales and current inventory are some of the reasons I keep going back. Check them out, you will be glad you did!
