I gave birth at this facility(which was a whole different issue in itself), but my child had to be emergency transported to Rockford about 20 hours after birth. Typically CPC would take on a new patient having been birthed at their facility, but my baby was denied due to her needing to be transported before 24 hours. Receptionist was hostile and dismissive. It would have been nice to have a pediatrician close to home, but this provider has been a horrible experience all together.

No problems with the facility or doctors. It is new and they are nice. Unfortunately it's their billing process. They started a new practice of a flat fee rate of $235 for a facility fee and then charge for other services separately so insurance companies aren't paying it fully. They are in my network and I have always just paid a small copay for a regular doctors visit but now with their new process i am having to pay for half the bill because a deductible is kicking in. For example if you think you have strep and see the doctor and they swab your throat they will bill you separately for the lab and you will pay more. I spoke to their billing rep who said she has only seen blue cross maybe pay both the facility fee and fully for other services. She said a lot of people have switched from them because of it. So just a heads up and beware before you make an appointment with them.

Very shady! Don’t bother selecting a PCP here. Centegra will charge you your copay then a month later bill you a $130 “facility fee” that your insurance will not cover. Make sure to go to a PCP that’s not in a hospital like this otherwise they’ll just make up random fees to charge you. What a terrible way to treat patients. This is literally what’s wrong with the healthcare system.

Brought my children to Dr Redlich for 4-5 years. We often waited quite a while in the room but while she was with us she was very focused and attentive to my children’s needs. I was sad to have to leave her due to an insurance change but happy to be away from Centegra!

I show up early and they tell me my doctor is running 30 minute behind. Meanwhile if I cancel or leave they can charge me $25. I guess my tine isnt as valuable as the staff here at the Gastroenterolgy and Internal Medicine Specialists. This is not the was to treat a new patient.
