I am blessed and honored to say that I’ve been a part of Wooded Glen Recovery center. My family made the call and within hours Wooded Glen recovery center was at my front door to pick me up that right there is a blessing in itself. I mean, literally I Was in South Bend, Indiana in a rough part of the neighborhood And with no questions they came and got me. The person that took me there was very nice and polite it made me feel very comfortable the whole way there. Now once I got to wooden Glen recovery center I was very tired. That was a 4 Hour Dr. in I was coming down. I was in my head. I was just wasn’t in the best of mood, but from the very beginning, the nurses techs and the staff they were very polite very understanding they took really good care of me. They welcomed me with open arms and they made me really feel like I was supposed to be there and that I wasn’t ALONE. I didn’t have any clothes they gave me clothes.We didnt know what each other from Adam, but they treated me like they knew me their Whole life. In at that time, that’s exactly what I needed because I was coming out of a comfort zone and Was going into a uncomfortable situation, but yeah, the way I was treated it made me feel comfortable again without the use of drugs and alcohol. And I can name off so many people left and right Mark teaches one of the best big book classes you’ll ever be in. Brandon has just as many problems as anybody else client in there and he still showed up to work every day and every day “He would say this is helping me just as much as helping you”. Then you got Mike reminding you that we’re in this together he would always say “if you got what I got” Then we gonna get through this. TOGETHER .I can tell you something about every last one of the staff in there. They either said something to me, done something for me, or they listen to me, but it had an impact in my life when I needed it the most.The medical staff are amazing, understanding, and patient. Clinical staff Ms Angela case worker and Ms Darby my therapist assisted me all the way and came up with a treatment plan to best fit my needs in there and out here. I can’t forget about the food and all the kitchen workers every day every morning smiles good food, good vibes. One other thing I enjoyed the most about Wooded Glen was the scenery. I’m from the city so it’s a lot going on around here all the time there’s buildings and houses and cars and out there you are to recollect your thoughts and enjoy nature to bring you peace and realign your moral compass.I was able to stand back, focus, and analyze what was going on with me with the help of the staff and everybody giving me the tools and putting things in a different perspective for me. I would just go outside and I was just look at the beautiful scenery. So many sceneries to look at and trails. Where you can go and just think about what you thinking about without distractions. I would think about how blessed I am to be here. And this might be the longest review you ever read in your life but going to wooden Glen recovery center was one of the best decision I’ve ever made in my life and so if I’m gonna speak on it imma give it what it deserves the clients, the staff, the kitchen workers, the maintenance people administration everybody everybody deserves their due diligence and they got it for me, and I got it for so many other more people shout out to Jessica. She keeps in contact with all the people after you graduating and those parties and without drugs and alcohol it let you realize that you can have fun outside of our old lifestyles. That’s pretty awesome right there so not only do you get taken care of while you’re at WoodedGlenn you get the best treatment but then after you leave you still part of the family you still part of something that means life or death cause this disease if you don’t treat it daily, it could be life or death and with the help of Wooded Glen recovery center and all the people that was in there I’m alive today and so yes I would recommend Wooded Glen to anybody.
