I have not had my hair done since 2018... Bailey cut and styled my hair on day 1. Then she did an incredible job helping plan out the placement of colors in my hair. Bailey and Ajah on day 1 went to work on lightning the darkest of brown hairs to blonde on day 1. I had to come back for a second round. This time Bailey and Lacey lightened my hair up to almost a Platinum blonde. I told you I was doing something fun, right? Toward the end of day 2, Alejandra helped finish my color, gave me a great rinse, and curled my hair. All of these people really enjoyed working on my fun project. 10 out of 10, see you all again soon!

I made an appointment here for lash extensions. I am well aware that this is a school so I was willing to wait etc. They told me to wait 15 minutes because the girls were on lunch. When they got back, I was informed they had been looking for someone to do our lashes. And they had no one. I am not upset that the service wasn’t done, I’m upset I waited almost an hour and was lied to. They were not “at lunch” there was never anyone to do them.

I'm in complete and utter astonishment! They allowed me to apply n attend this school knowing they don't have a teacher for my class. As of recently the school contacted me and we were able to work out a lot of the issues and have both agree to continue working out the issues. I feel very validated now and I am more comfortable knowing that my passion and my career is safely in the hands of this school. The teachers that they have given me now are absolutely amazing they have learned to make a learning a fun thing. I now absolutely enjoy waking up everyday and I'm excited to go to school. Thank you so much tricocy for reaching out and working with me on these issues.

I have been coming to Tricoci for 14 years and have NEVER been disappointed. I have always been treated with respect and courtesy from check in, students, teachers and check out! I highly recommend Tricoci for your hair care!

This establishment is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Both from a client and student aspect. As a client I literally only received respect and acknowledgment from one student who worked on me who was amazing and truly concerned about the health of my hair. The space is cluttered and messy and students and teachers alike seemed to have no regard for actual education and connection to the client. The student working on my hair bless her soul was obviously purposefully ignored by multiple teachers with even me having to call them over a few times. Most refused to help or when they did they gave such obvious attitude. Teachers are not present for consultations nor when presented with inspiration vs the student’s plan do they intervene. I am fully aware that I signed up for a student to do my hair however it is to be expected that teachers are present to prevent and correct any and all mistakes. We were told teachers and fellow students couldn’t help with foil work while in the same breath they helped another student with foil work. While I can empathize with the student what I cannot understand is how she smartly started my bleach with 10-20 level and not only do they charge for every HALF bowl, they also upped her developer without telling her , applied in completely different methods than she did, only consulted me about pricing, and would not let her wash the bleach out of my head until hours later. yes HOURS plural. So now obviously I am loosing large chunks of hair every day. And when I try to call both corporate and the salon itself they give me the run around while receptionists tell me that they already know who I am and what I’m calling about?!? But can’t connect me with a manager for two days now. Apparently managers have all the time to gossip about my situation. Do NOT go here. It’s not just the students to keep an eye on (except Lexy she was amazing and truly tried her hardest to keep my hair safe), its the management and “teachers” as well.

Please do not go here. Not only are the health standards extremely low and they have bedbugs now. But all students are treated horribly by administration. Just to be legally capable of speaking up, you have to be fully gone from this place for a couple of years. Or else they try to go after you legally. They do not care about the students and they do not care about the customers. Also, if you sign up, please make sure to do all the financial on your own, which you really should not go here It is not worth the suffering. The school does not make a good name for Mr. Tricoci. They financially damaged many students in my time there from improperly doing things.

Three stars just because my stylist and the surrounding students were pleasant. Where do I start? The receptionist who rolled his eyes and said “it’s not 930 yet.” When I checked in. (Their clock is 5-6 minutes behind) or the instructor who shouted over the intercom for students to move out of the guest parking or go home. NO ONE properly wears their mask. The place is filthy, walls covered with hair product, the floors sticky and every corner is caked with gunk. Furniture is way outdated. Mind you the only reason I go here is so my spouse gets practice and experience. Other than that, if I knew what this place actually looked like I’d never go. Unprofessional staff, constant screaming back and forth. You can feel the tension in the air.

I am writing this on behalf of a very close relative, "DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL IF YOU WANT TO UTILIZE YOUR LICENSE IN ILLINOIS", you will have to pay and take another test in Illinois which could possibly take 6 months once you graduate. Administration will avoid all questions regarding this issue. The property itself has numerous health issues, including and still existing bedbugs. There is no sense of security for an establishment that primarily services woman. Woman are also being threatened with legal action for speaking out.
