I found Dr woods and started seeing her in Marissa and she has helped me on my weight loss journey to lose over 70 lbs. I followed her when she left there to start Total Body Renewal in Columbia IL. The staff and office is amazing. Dr woods performed a treatment on me involving high frequency radio waves to help with my lymphedema! It was painless and she was very good. Won’t know if it helps for a week or two. I will be going there for all my aesthetic needs and weight loss follow ups. Give Total Body Renewal a chance to help with your needs as well. I recently had a treatment at Total Body Renewal. All of the staff were welcoming and professional. The office is beautiful and the treatment room had a very relaxing, almost spa-like feel to it. Both Dr. Wood and NP Becky Hammon are clearly experienced and knowledgeable. I did not feel pressured to sign up for additional services, as I have at other aesthetic offices, and my results were exactly what I wanted.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service and results I received from Total Body Renewal Medical Weight Management and Laser Treatment Center! Dr. Wood was amazing and provided a tailored approach to my weight loss goals and lifestyle changes (I was already pretty active - gym 2-3x a week; martial arts twice a week- but had horrible eating habits and couldn't lose weight). Her methodology was beyond thorough:

• She conducted a comprehensive review the history of my relationship with food;
• She ordered blood work to see where I was physiologically and rule-in/out factors contributing to my issues;
• She worked with me to assess my goals and how I wanted to achieve them; and
• She provided me with all months available options to choose from to achieve my goals.

I ultimately chose total meal replacement supported by oral medication as that was what aligned most closely with my goals. And let me tell you - wow! 18 lbs off in the first week and 5-7 each week after that. The total meal replacement (shakes, bars, soups) kept me in the calorie deficit I needed to lose the weight quickly while the medication fended off the hunger and kept my energy levels high.

So what were the results you may ask? I started at 348 on February 23 and today (May 26) I'm 264. I'm one week into my transition off total meal replacement, incorporating healthy dinners into my routine while eating my bars and shakes during the day. Did I mention the weight is STILL coming off (down 4 pounds this week)?

On top of all that, so many other benefits. Blood pressure improved. I can get up a flight of stairs without being winded. Knee and ankle stiffness mostly gone. Testosterone levels shot up (we discovered those were low in the initial labs).

All that to say, Dr. Wood and her team made it easy! I went from looking like Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince to David Goggins (just not running the Iron Man yet) in 3 months. I just wish I would have known how expensive it was going to be to replace my wardrobe (but it was all worth it)!

PS - if you're telling yourself "there's no way I can eat shakes, bars, and soups three times a day," trust me - when you step on the scale and see the results, you'll realize it's the easiest, most rewarding thing you'll do for youself.
