I have autism traits that interfere with my life, I also have issue with memory loss, skill loss, and other things. I cannot do things other adults can; I feel like I stopped growing alongside my peers in 4th/5th grade. I can’t work a job. I cannot live independently. I rely on my caregiver, who is also my partner.

I have struggled for a long time, since elementary school. I never got help because of unsupportive environments. The past few years, I’ve experienced a fast decline in my skills. I know I need help so I tried this clinic. And,

The clinic described me as “exaggerating my shortcomings” and as “seeming hostile”. The doctor did not meet with me face to face. I wasn’t administered any autism questionnaires or asked about it in depth.

On the phone, the doctor was rude, judgmental, and dismissive. The doctor openly judged my relationship and suggested the problem is we do not have balance, when we never said anything to suggest that. I hung up on the doctor because of how rude they were.

I don’t know if the doctor had a problem with me because I’ve never experienced a doctor being that rude before / never experienced that much medical gaslighting before. This appointment cost $500 and it didn’t help at all. Office workers were nice; doctor was irresponsible and careless in their work.

If you want a doctor who cares about you and your condition, I do not recommend Thomson Memory Clinic.

Do not waste your time or money. Spent over 900$ to get tested. 300$ flat fee from the company just to get tested. One fee for something I don’t know and the other fee is to max out my deductible which according to my insurance it did not so I’m not sure what that 900+ dollars even all went towards at this point. All to get diagnosed with something that makes no sense. Was told to ask Dr. Castero if I had any questions. Have been calling and emailing her for about a month now with no responses on anything. About to the point where I am going to have to show up at the office to get any answers.

We have used Thompson Memory Center for 2 of my kids with great success. Overall I was very satisfied with their service. The staff is friendly and very willing to work around your schedule. They have different offices you can visit for your convenience. The therapists and testing personal are very kind and put the boys at ease. Their testing and analysis was surprisingly thorough and I was very impressed with the amount of good information I received. We are looking forward to the continued improvement with the most recent during his follow-up treatments.

I am disappointed with my experience. I went into the appointment making it clear I wanted to understand how my learning style has changed and then learn how to work with it. I was looking for practical tools to deploy to increase my cognitive abilities. I listed this in the forms I filled out and again when we had the interview in the opening session. It was shared they can help with that. In the follow up phone consultation I did not receive any practical knowledge or tools to help my situation. The session was impersonal and lacking empathy. I invested a significant amount of time and resources to make this appointment happen. I needed help and received little in return.

The patient support here is very disappointing and unprofessional. I don't know if the scheduler works at this site so that's not to be confused, but Nicole had an appointment scheduled with me for January. Then I get called informing me that the doctor no longer works with them but they can get me in sooner in October with a different doctor. I thought that was great. She stated that I needed to send her a copy of my insurance card. I asked if it was okay if I got to her by the following day and she confirmed that was alright. I got her the insurance card by the following day and then I learn she had already given away my appointment away and the next available time will be in January.

Plain and simple, this was very disappointing patient support and I'm not sure if I will be coming here if they can't rectify the issue caused by their employee.

This place was great. I had a billing issue where an pre-auth needed to be done but wasn't. I worked with their billing team to get a retro-auth done so the insurance could pay properly. Their follow-up was great regarding this process. I don't think I've ever had an easier time getting a billing issue resolved before. Overall very satisfied.

The Dr. and staff were excellent. Calming and very welcoming and understanding. My older son thought it was the greatest play day. My younger son has much more anxiety but warmed up to the Dr quickly. She was compassionate when delivering the report and very thorough.

My daughter had a terrible experience at Thomson Memory. I have tried to contact them to discuss it, but there seems to be no way to do anything other than schedule and appointment or pay a bill. I was finally given the name of someone to contact, but she never replied to my email. A company that is happy to take your money, but won’t talk to you is very sketchy indeed.
