How can you have a stress and trauma center for kids when your staff are not child psychologists You have a staff with social worker degrees!! Yancy at the Carbondale office doesn't know what the hell she is doing and shouldn't be working with kids! She basically told my son that if he didn't participate in therapy I should punish him!! Really? That's the last thing you say to a child who has selective mutism and trauma!! Then she wanted him to be around babies and toddlers to learn social skills? My son is 10 years old and can speak in full sentences what is he supposed to learn from kids who aren't even talking yet. Then I asked the receptionist why nobody is specialized in treatment of children and she said well in a perfect world that would be good!!! If you can't staff the business you are trying to have the right way maybe you shouldn't be open.
