Huskies Can be Trained!
My wife and I brought our 6-month-old husky to Ready Set Sit and we were just blown away by our experience.  Our puppy started training as a bitey little land shark and Misty was able to help us learn what we needed to do to change this behavior as well as what we needed to change in our own behavior (I confess I was the culprit!). Our pup was able to quickly learn the basic commands such as sit, sit-stay, sit-down, heel, break, come, as well as the most powerful command of them all, park-it!  She was also taught words that let her know when she was doing something we wanted (Yes!) or something we didn’t want (No, Off, and Down). Words cannot express how thankful we are to Misty and we would recommend her to anyone that is interested in training for their own little pup.

I absolutely recommend Ready Set Sit LLC. The results have been amazing! She has a natural way with dogs and a deep understanding of canine behavior. Her training methods are both effective and compassionate, using positive reinforcement techniques that brought out the best in my dog. “Ready Set Sit LLC” took my shelter-liberated Pit bull mix for a 4-week “Board-and-Train” experience. Following training, she responds to a wide array of commands and is eminently more manageable. What I most appreciated, however, was their treating “Ellie” like a member of the family throughout the training process. I would recommend “Ready Set Sit” to anyone looking for compassionate and competent trainers.

Misty at Ready, Set, Sit is a miracle worker. Our dog Saylor was the king of our castle until Misty gave us the tools to reclaim our castle. Saylor was a nightmare to walk - pulling and leading the way. No one could approach us when in public without Saylor going into crazy dog mode. We learned through Misty what WE needed to do in order to allow Saylor to feel confident and safe. Once we changed our ways, Saylor followed right behind. Walks are now actually enjoyable and we recently took Saylor to an air show with a lot of people. Saylor was calm and even made friends with some of the other attendees. We know without a doubt that this would NEVER have happened without Misty at Ready, Set, Sit.
Misty gives you homework each week that is in the form of email so you can print it out and follow along. She's also very responsive to any questions we had between sessions.
We highly recommend Ready, Set, Sit if you're looking for help with your dog.

I absolutely recommend Ready Set Sit for anyone with dogs! Our 4 year old pup needed to refine some skills, build confidence, and learn to manage resource guarding. Misti was always available for questions and was super helpful! Her and her husband, Josh, even met us at Rural King to help show us what to do and help us feel more confident in taking my nervous baby around new people! She always offers encouraging yet honest advice on how to continue to continue to grow! Thank you Misti and Josh for everything 😊

I highly recommend Ready Set Sit! Josh and Misty are extremely knowledgeable and great at what they do! They tailor the training to your specific needs and are always available for questions and advice, even after training is complete. Roxy and I had 8 sessions and she has made great progress in her confidence and in trusting me to take care of things. We now have the education and information to continue working through her fears. I will definitely use RSS for any future training needs!

Ready Set Sit (Misti) was a total game changer for us and our dog. We thought our at home training we had learned on YouTube was good enough until our dog started acting out and being extremely snotty. We realized we needed to call in the big guns (which we should've done to begin with), so we got Bear scheduled for training with Misti. He was biting, not listening, barking ALL the time, being horrible to brush and handle, pulling on his leash, and wouldn't go in his crate 90% of the time. Now with the help of Ready Set Sit, he is no longer biting or being snotty! He loves to listen, get brushed, and crate time now! He is the best dog to go on walks now as well, he doesn't pull and walks directly next to us the entire time. He also LOVES going into his crate. We can now just look at his crate and he will go in there, he doesn't bark while in his crate either. We also love taking Bear to stores with us now because he listens so well. I cannot say enough great things about Ready Set Sit, Misti is also so kind and when we had an issue during the beginning of training when I couldn't get Bear's collar on without him biting me, she stopped by our house and helped me. It showed how she truly valued us and Bear. If you are thinking about going with Ready Set Sit, go for it!! You won't regret it!

I rescued a 5 month old Aussie doodle, Penny, with little to no training. Mitzi with Ready, Set, Sit was a godsend for me. With just a few training sessions I couldn’t believe the changes! I am continuing to work on my anxiety level which was also a lot of our problem. I would highly recommend Mitzi for your pet’s training!
