I have canceled this man as my psychiatrist 3 months ago and they literally went in and made an appointment for me without my consent probably because they’re money hungry because of how many patients they’ve lost which I’m pretty sure is ILLEGAL. I have blocked several numbers that they call from and leave messages. On top of all that EVERY doctor, including my therapist who is located in Bettendorf, recommended that I switch psychiatrists as soon as I possibly could because of how neglectful he is about his patients and their mental health.

I have had nothing but horrible experiences with this man. He’s gone from prescribing me the most outrageous medications that made me worse off than I already was to cussing me out and threatening me when he came to Robert Young inpatient to see me. His staff isn’t any better. They neglect every patient. I called to get a medication refilled one day and they told me that he hadn’t prescribed that medication to me in five months when it was obviously being sent to the pharmacy somehow. I wouldn’t recommend this man to my worse enemy!

Dr Gonchigari Narayana is a pill mill. He didn’t listen to one word I said. He made sure he filled out his form and prescribed medication based on nothing I was asking for. Also my first statement was I don’t want to be medicated. I went looking for someone to talk to and left even more anxious depressed and mad. If could put negative stars I would. Only go if looking for pills. Their name should be quad city prescriptions.

Watch “The Pharmacist” on Netflix, you’ll connect the dots. Any doctor that diagnoses you without any kind of testing is a red flag. I guarantee, no matter who you are, you will be prescribed Xanax. Additionally, you will be given the diagnosis of Bipolar. Doesn’t mean you have been tested for it, but you will have it. You can expect 5 minute appointments and him telling you to “stop being hard on yourself” repeatedly. He wants you to come back, but doesn’t want you to get better. After switching providers, I was instantly was reassessed and properly tested for compatible medications. None of which were prescribed by Dr. N.

Dr. Narayana and his staff are unprofessional, abrasive, and unhelpful. I visited the office one time, set the expectation that my medication was one that needed prior authorization, told him what other medications were used first at my previous psychiatrist's offices, and how long I had been on it. It took over two weeks before any movement was made, and I had to call to get anything done. During those calls, the nurse or receptionist was rude, I was hung up on, and they did not give my insurance enough information to authorize the medication that has been working for me since 2012. If you're considering visiting this business, don't. You'll get much better care from another provider.

Wanted to give -2 stars but its not possible. There is a doctor there who's name I will not say that without looking at me and probably my file either almost diagnosed me as manic bipolar or whatever it's called. He/She gave me some random stimulant when I needed the exact opposite, I needed something to call myself down and to lower the dosage but instead it was the other way around. I tried to see if the medication would work for months until I stopped taking them. I am glad I did because it caused me to enter the deepest depression I have ever experienced in my short life. The pills he/she gave me weren't working and it took me over 3 months to realize that they were the cause of my suicidal tendencies/thoughts. All in all I am fine now but at one point I almost lost it all.

P.S. Do not step foot in the building there is no leadership. Even if you have to, proceed with caution because the staff doesn't care about it's patients enough.

I've been with him since 2014 and honestly without his help I would be dead or in prison not married with my own house and a son on the way. his help gave me a second chance at life and yes sometimes it can be an unpleasant experience but he serves a greater purpose and people who take the program seriously and there sobriety seriously will agree.

The only complaint i have is. I paid cash for almost 2 yrs. Being told ins hadnt picked up the claims. Come to find out, my insurance started picking it up 3 months after going. When i asked about it i was told "You have 100 credit" ummm something dont add up here. 2 yrs paying cash, ins picked up bill WHILE I STILL PAID CASH. Getting printout from ins there shpuld be AT A MINIMUM of 500 credit.

The Dr. Is professional which can come across as abrasive. His staff does change alot but his book keeper hss been there the last 10 years. I find him easy I find him easy to talk to and can call for help if needed. I can't imagine changing Psychiatrist moe.
