Hoy fué la primera vez que visite la escuela de Paul Mitchelle Chicago para hacerme color y cortarme el cabello.
Al llegar a mi cita me registré y tomé asiento, a los pocos minutos vino la estudiante que me atendería , ne comentó que en la entrada tienen venta de productoa de la marca de Paul Mitchell,
Después me fui al lugar donde me atenderia y de entrada se presentó y dijo que que es lo que me iba a hacer , que color quería o que estaba buscando y cual era mi presupuesto, la estudiante se llama Moonie y junto con su maestra Olivia lme explicaron cual podría ser la mejor opciones y sugerencias para mi color de cabello , entre que me estaban sugiriendo cual era el mejor color y entre lo que yo queria ginalmemte me dijerin cual color.me aplocarian tambien me pteguntaron el presupuesto para pagar, todo muy bien explicado y eso me gusto mucjo, tambien hibo la interevencion de la maestra para tiente y las 2 maestras de la escuela estuvieron al pendiente del trabajo de sus estudiantes y sus clientes.
Me encato el resultado de color de mi cabello y el corte de cabello

This was my first visit to the Paul Mitchell School and I left truly impressed. Jordan W (#194) was amazing, from finding someone great (Emma) to wash and condition my hair due to her inability to do so that day, to suggesting a good haircut that favored me. My experience was great, and the price was unparalleled! I love how my hair looks and I will definitely come back!
For anyone planning on booking an appointment: Take into account they are students and will check in with their instructors throughout the process. This results in a longer time spent in the salon. Plan accordingly! I spent close to 3 hours for a wash, deep conditioning (with 30 minutes leave-in), haircut, and blow-out.

While at Paul Mitchell, they are a very busy School. My experience was so amazing that I reschedule didn't think twice about it. The aspiring profession stylist Mari was so professional. Marilyn once greeting me she compliments on my hair for what style it's in. Yet we went on to Mari chair, after placing my belong in closet!! I tell you Mari asking how was i get my hair done second time. Then asked if she may touch my hair. Hahaha I'm laughing because they don't do that anymore longer. So my over all experience was pleasant, professionally, powerful because Mari crafted will be amazing upon Graduation time and also now!! I had a wonderful experience! I chopped a lot of hair off and my stylist took her time and did an amazing job. Make sure you’re not in a rush as these are students and they’re not as fast as a professional stylist, but they do an amazing job and I left feeling refreshed and excited about my new look

The student was a good listener and recommended products based on my hair needs, 2 hrs for a haircut and styling, for only $30. Not bad compared to when I go to “professionals” with decades of experience , get charged an arm and leg and end up with a botched haircut. Their products are expensive $70 for 2 hair products.

This was my 1st visit, and when making the appointment I requested a "Phase 2" (more advanced student) with a higher price point than the newbies. I live an hour away & was halfway there when I got a call saying my student wasn't available. My choices were to go w/ a new student or come back hours later. So I took the new student. I was asked 2 strange questions: what was my budget, and how much time did I have? I told them budget was the posted price. Because I didn't have plans for a couple hours, I said I had no time constraints. My only request was that they use a shampoo for color-treated hair. I think the shampoo stripped some color from my hair. THREE HOURS & 15 MINUTES later I left with a decent hair cut. (I had to cancel my other plans.) I may go back, but I'll give them a time limit!!

Great haircut by Rachel (170) I think I was her first pixie cut that wasn’t on a mannequin and she did phenomenal. The parts she was a little shaky on a teacher helped her and it turned out great! The hair wash was lovely and the whole thing only cost $15! Can’t wait to go back to her again. Also she was just a delight of a human.

2 things to keep in mind as a customer of a hair school: It takes a while. I think it took about 2 hours. They are learning y’all. It takes some time. Plan accordingly. And second if you want to tip them bring cash cause they can’t add it onto a card payment.

Good place for inexpensive haircare. It was easy to get an appt & the wait time at reception was short. Although I did not make a purchase, they seemed to have a wide selection of Paul Mitchell products. I especially like the dim lighting & calming music in the wash station area. There is paid garage & street parking as well as restaurants nearby. I took off one star because the salon is loud & I had trouble hearing the stylist.
