I have been a Nutrisense customer since 2023, and had been mostly satisfied until my most recent purchase. Nutrisense is conducting research now, but they give you the 'option' of opting out. However, what they don't tell you is that if you opt out of the research they will send you Libre 1 sensors, not the Dexcom sensors that you've ordered. You place your order first (for Dexcom sensors) and then you read through pages and pages of 'research' consents that say over and over again that you have the option to opt out and that if you do, you will be sent the 'non-research sensors'. Never do they mention that the 'non-research sensors' are outdated Libre 1 sensors, which have been discontinued by the manufacturer (Abbott). Once you do find out, you can't cancel your order or opt back in to the research before your outdated sensors ship. Customer service has been completely unhelpful in making this right, even after I've said I would opt in to the research---I just want the sensors I ordered. I was told I could opt in for the remaining two months, but they will do absolutely nothing about the initial month. This is a completely unethical bait and switch sales practice. No one in their right mind would pay $200 for discontinued medical technology. Very disappointing that this company would rather lose a long time customer than replace two outdated sensors with what was actually ordered. There are a number of competitors out there, and I will be using one of their services from now on

The app is awesome, but the service and all the rules are terrible. For example, it’s strictly 30 days that you get access to the app when you pay, but the CGMs take 10-14 days to arrive. So you’re paying for the app while you can’t use it. Support has made it clear that they don’t care.

Or if you want to cancel so it does not automatically renew you have strict times where you can cancel without an early termination fee. Nope. They won’t just turn off the automatic renewal. They want you to remember to contact them when that date gets close. Likely so you forget and end up locked in for another 2-6 month period.

And if your CGM fails they offer no support. They expect you to figure that out with the manufacturer.

There are other CGM companies like levels. Don’t use Nutrisense.

I want to stress what the other reviews say about cancellation. I signed up for 3 months. Then surprise I received a fourth month charge. I immediately cancelled on the app and surprise I received a charge for a fifth month! Great unit and super information that it provides but come on Nutrisense get your billing scam under control.

This is such a joke. First of all if you want a CGM, talk to your doctor about getting one prescribed for health optimization. The markup on these is insane.

Second, the nutritionist they tell you you’ll get won’t be personalized. They aren’t meeting with you via phone or video. They just message you a bunch of canned recommendations that don’t really benefit you. She never established a calorie goal I should shoot for. I used AI to help me calculate my calorie and macro goals. AI was more helpful than this “nutritionist”.

Just don’t let them sell you on this. Their social media does a good job drawing you in if you’re someone interested in health optimization. But it is just not worth it.

Yes, I agree with the other reviews! I signed up for one month and received a bill for another month. The only form of communication is by email. The payment was pending, no CGM shipped or received but still charged for another month and was told I could not cancel. So this is a scam they are running on people. It’s sad!! Anytime you are scamming people in this day and time your karma is right around the corner.

It is nearly impossible to cancel. I have been trying to cancel for weeks. The worst customer service I’ve encountered ever!!! You can’t connect with a live person and when you try to communicate through email the responses are so vague and useless. The instructions are inaccurate on how to cancel from the app. It is extremely easy however to add features which cost more money. This is nothing short of theft at this point. It is impossible to cancel. Save yourself the nightmare

You pay for a mth and they don’t ship out new sensor until 4 days after the end date of the old sensor. Customer service doesn’t care just wants to move your billing dates. This is not the service that was advertised
