This is one of the most bottom tier barber shop I’ve ever been to, now even tho this is a barber school it’s one of the worst barber schools I’ve ever been to. I’ve never had a haircut so bad to the point I have to cut all my hair off and restart again. If I could rate this on a scale of 1/10 I give it a 2 and one of those points is for no wait time and the other is the barbers there were pretty friendly.

Unlike other “barbershops” I am in and out in a very reasonable time. I go to the Calumet City location . Only 1 mediocre experience. The price is right for us seniors too! Been there for a cut atleast 12 times and will be back again

I decided to give this Barber College a try at cutting my hair. I walked in and everyone in the main room greeted me. A teacher came from the middle section and asked me what I needed. I shared with him my many negative experiences from other barber colleges. He called one of the students. The teacher told him what I wanted and he delivered. He was very confident at giving me what I asked for. He had a skill set that I have never experienced. He kept asking me throughout the cut if he was doing ok. I will definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Do not let your child go to school here. You will regret it. This Kumasi guy is unstable and creates a tense and uptight learning environment. I let my son go to school here at the Calumet City location and this man was so mean and unprofessional to my son. He cursed at him,told him he would not be a good barber and stepped in his face trying to provoke a fight. Then when I call to see why he did this, to ask him why would he treat a student this way. His only explanation was my son took a phone call and he has a policy that my son should follow. Which actually was an emergency phone call from a family member. Even if there is a policy, no one has the right to disrespect another person. Also it is very unprofessional for an educator to disrespect and belittle a student. There is no justified reason to snap out and kick a student out of school just because they have an emergency. A person should be able to feel safe and comfortable in the school they attend. Not uncomfortable and criticized. My son is now out of this school and in a way better program happy and doing well. But I just wanted to let everyone know beware if you plan to attend this school. This is not a good one.
