I have worked with Dr Mike since 2021, in person and over Telehealth. I have a lot of experience with therapy over the years, but I have to say Dr Mikes approach is modern and comforting. He understands that good healing therapy requires trust and was willing to let me take my time.
I have grown a lot over the past 3 years of attending therapy with him and I love who I’ve become.

I walked into Modern Me Psychology with a lack of self esteem and motivation w sprinkles of anxiety, PTSD and depression...the list goes on and on. After working consistently with Dr. T over the last couple of years I am so proud of the woman I am today. There were tears, layers shed, laughs, breakthroughs, reflections and work - and it was worth EVERYTHING I came to understand and appreciate about myself. Not only did we work to resolve all the original things I came in to work through but I had her support through life's inevitable ups and downs that came along the way, which I feel played such an essential part in my growth. The skills I have learned and the knowledge I gained are genuinely priceless and I plan to implement them the rest of my life. Dr T. sat there with me for 4 years & never gave up on me. I looked forward to our sessions bc I laughed & cried while she allowed me to see parts of her life. Trust was built & I saw that she was also a human with flaws which made me feel less alone. The compassion she had for me with real life examples of what self love looked like paved the way to my new view of Self. Thank you for teaching me that I am allowed to care for myself. Thank you for showing up in ways I didn’t even know I needed. I am just scratching the surface, my life has become an experience that I capable of living in the present moment.

Talked to mike over the phone since COVID-19 restricted us from seeing each other. It was my first time ever doing any therapy Work. He was very understanding and definitely has a more modern twist to therapy than other doctors.
