Midwest Jiu Jitsu is your answer when looking for a gym. Professor Scott offers expert instruction in jiu jitsu, judo, women's self defense and law enforcement self defense. The amount of classes that are available compared to the price you pay is almost laughably cheap. On top of all this, the most important aspect of this gym is the people. Whether it's Professor Scott teaching adults that compete or other coaches teaching a brand new 4 year old student, the instruction is always professional and extremely friendly. This gym is veteran owned and perfect for all levels no matter what your long term goals are.

Whether you or your kids want to compete, get fit, or learn very valuable martial arts I would seriously recommend Midwest Jiu Jitsu Academy in Monroe City, Mo. Nobody ever regrets training Jiu Jitsu but you do have to be careful where you train. For me joining the Midwest Jiu Jitsu family has been one of the highlights of my life. I've been with them for seven or eight years now!

You won’t find a better place to train Jiu jitsu with the value of instruction you receive compared to the cost with the lowest membership fees in the area and even family rates for larger families!

I have been traveling 4 hours to Midwest Jiu-Jitsu Academy for close to a year now the instructors are all amazing and extremely knowledgeable and work with where you are at.I've taken Judo,MMA and Jiu-Jitsu classes and attend their incredible seminars and love their open mats on Sunday's, rolling with the kids is always an educational experience all of the kids and adults are happy to pass down their knowledge. This Academy is absolutely worth the drive and once winter calms down I will be back!

Been a student for several years and can say without a doubt that training in the environment that Professor Scott cultivates has helped me reach heights that I didn’t realize I could reach….on AND off the mat. You will not only get better at self defense and body awareness, but you will mature. Keep the right attitude and work hard, and you will find yourself a vastly better person than when you first walked in. Professor Scott also fosters a culture of safety where everyone can safely train day in, day out.
