The reviews aren't wrong when it comes to experiencing rude and unprofessional receptionists here. I will say that I've only spoken to two receptionists here. The older lady was super nice and helpful! The younger receptionist with long dark hair and a tattoo on her hand was disgustingly rude. It was the end of the day, and I get wanting to go home. I've been in her shoes, but I can't say I've ever been rude or disrespectful to a patient/client. She smirked in annoyance and rolled her eyes, made little unnecessary facial expressions when she thought I wasn't looking. You'd think this person would be reprimanded or fired if she's this unprofessional, but maybe it doesn't matter to the higher ups here. Who knows. Therapist, Darren, was extremely kind and listened amazingly. The problems I have with this office is that they allow certain staff members to be rude and unprofessional, and when it comes to cleanliness or just the look of the place, it does come off dirty and dingy as I read in another review. Not all rooms looked horrible though. But when it comes to the front desk staff, do better. The only saving grace is Darren. But if this attitude continues, it's not worth coming here.

Michelle didn't really care about me as a person. She mocked me and her behavior is very unprofessional. She decided she "could not help me", then dropped me from her client roster. The director of this office never contacted me to assign another therapist 😒

Reviews aren't wrong at all. Dr Kopal is joke, and the staff doesn't tell you what's going on, or communicate with each other. Go somewhere else, even if you have to pay out of pocket.

Waited 2 months for an appointment. We called 2 hours before our appointment and was told it was canceled due to the doctor not being in. So angry because we never received a phone call from them telling us that it was canceled. They said they called but they did not. I'm so disappointed with this place.
I believe people in office our not doing there job. NOT SURE if we will come back.

They deleted my original review back in 2020 or 2021. This is the absolute worst place to go. Very unprofessional. Told my boyfriend at the time who was 42 and I was 49 he was only w me because he saw me as a mom figure! Ordered a bunch of tests I didn't need and ins denied the order. . BUT THE WORST SET ME UP TO SEE CHRISTINE LANG/REESE W OUT CHECKING HER CREDENTIALS TO FIND OUT SHE IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM ARTIST! I HAD A HARD TIME LEAVING THE HOUSE TO COME SEE HER FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. SHE DID A GREAT JOB OF MAKING ME FEEL COMFORTABLE AS I BAWLED MY EYES OUT! She told me how she had been through it before and understood how I felt! HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOWINGLY ALLOW A SCAMMER TO MAKE YOUR CLIENTS who are vulnerable see someone like this,! It's so ethically disgusting and wrong. I feel stupid, humilated,violated! It took every last ounce of energy to try to get counseling and now the anxiety and trust issues are off the charts! You let this lady have all my info and to give me help I needed. Of course she said what I wanted to hear! Whether it was good advice or wrong advice she never should have been there in the first time using someone's else's credentials! I'm so upset! AND SHE HAd all of my info!!!

Dr. Michelle is so kind. Intake was a bit odd but i feel so very comfortable with her. I realize there is so much more to me that i need to overcome and i can't wait for her help me overcome these issues! Finally found the best therapist i have seen!

I don't recommend Dr. Gopal at all! She was very rude and unapproachable. We had 2 visits with her. After the intial visit I asked to meet with a different doctor and they would not let me change drs. On the 2nd visit after our child went through the 5 hrs of testing for ADHD, we expected her to walk us through the test results, what tests they did, and our options. Instead, we walked in her office, she did not even look at us or greet us, she handed us the packet of results, and just sat there. I started to review the packet on my own (in silence in front of her) and asked about the"jargon" and terms that we were not familiar with. She acted like we should know what wisc-iv, VCI, and PRI meant, and it was like pulling teeth to get any answers out of her- which she gave in a very condescending manner.

She did not even review the file before we walked in, and even referred to our child by the wrong name. She gave us the wrong diagnosis, then had to review his file again to correct it. Once I pointed out to her who our child was, she reviewed his file in front of us for the first time. She sat in her recliner the entire time (including when we came and left) and had me fill out papers on the floor at her coffee table. She is very cold, uninformative, unprepared, and did not even take the time to ever meet with our child, yet she was giving us the results.
Instantly, she told us our only option was medication. I was ready to accept medication, but I had hoped she would offer 2 or 3 options. However, everyone else in the office were very nice, and the other doctors seemed very friendly. If you do get stuck with dr. Gopal, I suggest you research ADHD tests, terms and treatments in detail before your visit (though we thought we did). Do not expect a good bedside manner or a doctor who cares about your child. It was clear we were just another case file and all of her answers felt like they were generic ADHD answers without really knowing our child. We mentioned our experience to our primary and she said that she hears that a lot about Dr. GOPAL.
She told us our child had impulsivity, (in actuality our child is very slow, lathargic, and quiet). When I was surprised and questioned this, she said "oh your right, the test showed he wasnt, I must have been thinking about someone else". Lastly, the report is very copy/paste, and several times they put the wrong child's name. As a concerned parent, she was the worst doctor I have ever met with.

One of the worst experiences ever. Soneela Choundhry was uncaring and dismissive. I am depressed and looking for help and she was not the least bit interested in helping me. This was an extremely awful experience.
