Terrible, I had trusted Karen Bissle to help unite my son and me during a separation between his mom and myself. I left Karens office with the agreement she would contact me with the status of kids sessions and with her "professional wisdom" call when she felt it was time to work on group counseling. She has included my 2 kids and my ex in group but failed to include me. I was told all they do it talk about the same thing over and over again and stare at the walls. There is more of a wedge between me and my son since they have been seeing Karen. She is truly one who has fell victim to my Ex wife’s manipulative ways. I fired Karen and for some reason she felt telling my kids this was important. This was a one on one conversation she and I had and I did not agree with her passing this information. When speaking with her she made it clear she didn’t care if I found someone else and "she was not at my beck and call". This comes from someone who is a follower of God. She was my last hope and she failed not only me but my kids. She doesn’t return calls, the 1st time I made multiple calls before she even returned mine. I understand that some will disagree with my review but I have no reason to lie about this. There will be some that may consider Karen but those who read what I have dealt with I hope you reconsider this person. I am a United States Vet and my counseling I have had from the government is better then what she can provide and if you follow VA that’s not saying much. I am in the process of filing a complaint with every and any agency I can find about her lack of Integrity. I feel I was treated with disrespected because I am a man and a Vet plus I opened up to her on my failures and mistake I made in my marriage and I felt she judged me. There maybe a few of you that have had success with Karen if so consider yourself lucky. She said she would she would return my call on Tuesday 24 hours later still waiting so much for her word. I guess if you can’t trust a “counselor” I mean a “spiritual consultant” she not a counselor who can you trust.
