I can't recommend therapy here. I was set up with a provider through the VA. I was seen 2 times. At that time I was only being seen once a month and asked to have it bumped up to 2 times a month and was told "of course!" Right before that appt the therapist reached out and cancelled. I was rescheduled and then the night before that appt it was also cancelled by text and I was told they would contact me the next day to reschedule me again . A month and a half later I still hadn't heard back. When I reached out to see about scheduling a new appt I was told "I'm part time at the practice so reach out to another practice"..."thank you and good luck". When I then asked how to get my medical records so I could bring them with me to a new provider I was told "contact lifestance they handle all the admin stuff". I call the number listed during the time it states they are open and the recording tells me " try again during our business hours". It's taken me 12 years to reach out for help. This is not helpful. I can't recommend it.

There was a miscommunication in booking. I had requested an in person session, but Tele session was scheduled and at a different time. I went to Life Stance Office, then had to return home to have the session via phone. It was an honest mistake on the part of the therapist.

~ Updated Review ~

I originally had left a 1 star review after months of issues with billing and being overcharged for sessions, but now that it’s been fixed I want to update my review.

Anyway, to start I really enjoyed getting therapy here! The staff here are so sweet and I really enjoyed coming here every week! The environment is clean, welcoming, and calming. I went to Lisa and she really made me feel like someone that actually mattered, she listened and always had a cheery smile for me when I needed one. So thankful I found her!

I will say to pay attention to your bills and don’t wait to address any problems as customer service is very hard to get ahold of and it takes a lot of time to get things fixed if you don’t get in touch with the right people.

Special thanks to Vicky for all her help getting the issues I had straightened out! You definitely made my experience so much better!

I see both a psychiatrist and therapist and they both have changed my life for the better. I don’t think I would still be here if it weren’t both of them. So easy to make an appointment and to be able to reach out to the doctor when needed. They actually care about what’s going with you and don’t try to rush through the appointment. If you’re doubting making an appointment, how I was in the beginning. JUST DO IT. I never thought I’d get out of my depression or get on the right medications until I came here.
