Expect employees to be rude, confused, or both, every time you go to the pharmacy drive-thru. They've never been able to refill my prescriptions on time or in a consistent manner. Also, their hours are inconsistent; Their official lunch break is from 1:00-1:30, but they close their drive-thru window at their whim, sometimes up to a half-an-hour early to, as they say, "get ready for lunch." I highly recommend finding a different pharmacy; This one's not worth the hassle(s).

For years my family has been loyal customers of this pharmacy and store, but I am now transferring all our prescriptions and will no longer shop here. 3 times in a row prescriptions that I had been promised would be ready and even had received texts confirming that they were ready, were not. In one case it meant that I went without 2 very important prescriptions for too long a time. None of the staff seemed to care.
Furthermore, repeatedly I have been charged higher prices for various items than were posted.
Add to this that numerous employees, even in the pharmacy, have been without masks.

I am very frustrated with this pharmacy recently. The last time I came to pick up a prescription, they told me it would be a 2 hour wait even though it was supposed to have been ready and they said they were going on lunch so I needed to move out of the line. My doctor called in a renewal prescription yesterday morning for my husband and I called yesterday afternoon to see if it was ready to pick up and had to leave a message. No one returned my call so I called this morning at 10:15 a.m. and after several rings and no one answering it went to an answering machine again and I had to leave another message. The people are in no hurry and seemed unconcerned about the waits for their clients. I am seriously considering moving all our prescriptions to another pharmacy and hear Schnucks is very good.

What has Kroger done? Reduced the hours.
Closed the drive through. Waits in line are always minimum 30 minutes.

Horrible. Just horrible. If negative stars were allowed I'd give them a -5.

Minimum 30 minutes up to hour+ waits in line at your "scheduled pick up time" only to find out your medication is not ready and to come back in 30 minutes (always 30 minutes). Go back to the back of the line, an hour or so later now they're out of your medication and somehow it's your fault. Come back in a few DAYS.

Depending on the day, either no or inadequate seating for people on line many of whom are elderly, disabled or are otherwise uncomfortable standing for long periods of time. Unbelievable that they create this abysmal situation and don't even provide minimal reasonable accommodation for the people left waiting.

Unfriendly, sometimes outright belligerent staff who I can only assume were already unpleasant to deal with and now overworked to the point of yelling at and insulting customers. Every problem is not their fault. Every time!

No drive thru. Very limited hours. Sometimes closed during posted hours, no explanation.

I had one prescription my insurance doesn't cover sent here because of the lower advertised GoodRX price (which is apparently not valid in this store for some arcane reason I am supposed to understand via eye rolling and waving to the next person in line).

I went in person (since nobody ever answers the phone) and tried to have it transferred to my usual pharmacy with no success. I tried asking my usual pharmacy to request the transfer but they were also unsuccessful (since nobody ever answers the phone). Their insanely, horrendously bad practices mean I've been stuck dealing with them and there are no polite words to tell you exactly how I feel about that.

I FINALLY managed to pick up my last refill on this prescription yesterday afternoon after a few failed attempts. FREE AT LAST!!

TL;dr: It's really, really bad.

WARNING: Worst pharmacy ever!!!!!! The only reason it got one star from me is because I can’t leave a review without putting one.

Whoever the hiring manager for the pharmacy is needs to be fired immediately!
If there isn’t anyone willing to work in this department stop hiring people that have no idea how to work in a pharmacy. The shortage of people isn’t the customers problem, and being overly nice now isn’t gonna work just because you want your reviews to go up. Your pharmacy employees are clueless. The place needs to be shut down because Your literally making the whole Kroger go down hill! Because of this pharmacy my family and I will no longer be doing my grocery shopping here and I will gladly tell everyone else not to shop here.

We have been loyal customers of Kroger for over 15 years. Last year our insurance changed and our usual pharmacy was no longer approved. We moved all of our prescriptions to Kroger and have regretted it ever since. We get messages that our prescription is ready and when we come several hours later to pick it up we are consistently told “oh we’re working on that now”. A male pharmacist actually yelled at me to “step back until I call you to stand on the dot!” when there was no one ahead of me in line (finally!) and I was actually standing on the circle that said “please wait here”. I have worked in healthcare for 37 years and have never been treated so unprofessionally in my life. Since that time he has been sarcastic and overly instructive every time. Prescriptions called in four days ago are still “being worked on” when we come to pick them up. Many businesses are short staffed. This one is simply unprofessional and disorganized. Have changed pharmacies and now have absolutely no trouble getting our meds when promised. We will never be back.

Well, I just had to write this to counter the negative reviews I saw here. My experience with these folks has always been very good. They are very busy so I always have my physician's office send them the prescription directly so I'm not having to wait while they fill it. Their prices are very competitive, but even then they're always willing to look at different options to find the lowest price for me. I recently changed prescription drug plans and my new plan was not going to cover a long-standing prescription I had, but the pharmacist checked and found the problem was with the quantity prescribed, which they were able to quickly change so that it was covered. They also do immunizations, which has saved me from having to get them at my doctor's office. I'm happy and will keep going back.
