This was my second time there. I didn't like the place when I first went but I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt that they improved over the years.....WRONG! I showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early. They put me in a room and as I was filling out the paperwork, the nurse comes in to tell me the doctor can't see me. I asked why, she tells me that they haven't seen me since 2021 and the doctor needs 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes for my appointment. I asked why didn't they realize that when I made the appointment. Isn't my time just as valuable as the doctors'? If I didn't show up for the appointment, I would've been charged a "no show" fee. Do I get reimbursed for my time and traveling? Of course not!

This review does not in any way reflect my physician, Dr Nizza- as she has always been outstanding. Today I was scheduled for a 1:30pm appt.via telehealth. After waiting nearly a half an hour, I tried giving the clinic a call to ask what may be the hold up but could not get through after two tries and one voicemail. I hopped back on the call hoping the appt would start or hear back from the office. After another 15 minutes, I called twice and got someone on the second try. The person I spoke to was by no means rude but I was a somewhat disappointed by the lack of acknowledgment for waiting a full 45 minutes. No explanation or apology only asked if I wanted to reschedule.

Dr Nizza has always been prompt and professional and needless to say I was a bit let down by the lack of communication or explanation from the office in addition to adding an inconvenient wedge in my afternoon. I understand scheduling issues arise but I wanted to leave this review to bring it to Knownwells attention as it was my first experience dealing with them.

My doctor is great. I do not prefer the interactions with the office team. Since leaving my 5 star review in the beginning, that they asked for, I have had 3 negative interactions that could have been handled in a much better manner. The office staff has me looking elsewhere.

I came here because of the positive reviews. I had a good initial visit. My second visit is where I signed up for their program—I did not learn or get anything out of my dietitian visit; it was not personalized to me and felt very textbook. The third visit with the doctor was so quick. The things we went over and the concerns I had were quickly brushed off. It also seemed like he was in a rush or needed elsewhere during my appointment time since his dietitian knocked while we were talking, and had to leave the room. It's frustrating because when I initially met him, he seemed like such a nice doctor. I also feel that given how quick these past visits were, it could have been completed in one visit since I pay a copay every time I come in. Overall, I have not had a positive experience, and I am already signed up for their program, so I am just hoping I get the results I want in the end. But as of right now and how things are going, I don't know if it is worth the money

I’ve been with Ascension weight loss for the past 2 1/2 years. They are amazing supportive and caring. The staff is always welcoming and caring. The food supplements are tasty. I’ve lost 100 pounds. I would recommend this to anybody.
