Had a great experience yesterday with Ellen who gave me a haircut. Recognize that it might take longer than a haircut somewhere else, but you can’t beat the price and the instructors are walking around and assisting the whole time so you are in good hands. Definitely will be back and have already recommended it to friends!

I was seen and loved by Ceaira who did a braid boho style with added colored hair. She took such attentive care of my head I was completely blown away. She’s extremely easy to talk to and will make your entire session enjoyable whether you’re needing a little vent or just needing to relax. We’ve all been there! And she gets it. I’ve had some pretty traumatic hair stylist experiences in the past and she laid all fears and phobias to rest. She took extra time and care on my head and was incredibly educational as well. 11/10

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Ceaira, and I couldn't be happier with the results! She expertly cut my hair into a short, cute style that I absolutely love. What really made the experience special was the vibrant blue and green color she added. Even months later, the color is still so vivid and barely faded at all. Ceaira’s attention to detail and her skills with color are truly impressive. She really knows how to make you look and feel fantastic! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fresh, stylish haircut and color that lasts.

Hello all, i'm a former student that recently graduated and have been waiting to post this for a while:) I could write an essay about how terrible this school is but I might as well write a book. Anyways, from a student standpoint: education is awful. Now don't get me wrong, beauty school only teaches a stylist enough to pass the state bored. However, in my 11 of schooling we have been through 3 teachers. Night teacher does not teach, solely asks for her own color, cuts, and washes to be done from vulnerable students who fear saying no, because she gives the final exam. Multiple times she has asked for massages, we are not a massaging school, NOR should a teacher be asking a STUDENT for a massage. Creepy, uncomfortable, and disgusting to say the least. Students carry the weight of learning from each other. The only person who values their education on the clinic floor is Ms. Deana. However, she is not a teacher, nor is teaching her job title. If it weren't for her bending over backwards to hold the school together, John Amico would be out of business, as he should! My hours were unkept. Missing and lost in the clutter of admins office..... From a clientele standpoint point: Sinks are broken, water is too hot/cold. We have had multiple infestations and delightful critters. Roaches and mice absolutely love the kitchen! If you have ever gotten a service at this school, I suggest you think twice unless you are willing to welcome critters into your home:) Well, now with that being said, might I say how sick I felt walking into that building for 11 months. I did not feel safe, valued, nor cleanly. No student, regardless of education they are teaching for, should EVER feel this way walking into a building that SHOULD be fostering creativity and growth. I am DEEPLY saddened that unknowing, vulnerable, people are enrolling being the price is appealing. As much anger as I have, it is mostly sadness and disappointment. I'm worried for the students who are stuck in that building. I appreciate those who have read this entirely review. Please think twice before supporting an establishment so corrupt.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience at this place. I asked for highlights and received copper !colored! roots. The student obviously didn't know what she was doing. I was aware that my hair would be done by a student. But my understanding was that the student would be supervised by the competent supervisor. I'm asking myself what kind of competency the supervisor had? I don't remember her name but she was a black lady with short red curly hair. I wont recommend her as a supervisor for highlights job.

I spent 6 hours there giving them a chance to fix the highlights into blond as I wanted it initially. It looked like they more or less fixed the color when they styled my hair. Until I came home... The pictures say it all. Even the haircut leaves much to be desired. I went to a professional to fix my hair color into a more natural tone.

The student strongly damaged my hair. The school offered several restoration treatments at no cost as an apology.

Abigail E. was my stylist earlier and she did a fantastic job with my hair! The turn-out exceeded my expectations. She was really patient and knows what she's doing. Her instructors were very helpful too. Overall, the place offers quality service to their clients.

I got my balayage here and am SO excited and happy with how it turned out. The process takes a tad longer since the students are being taught while doing your hair, but I didn't mind and listening to the teaching was actually really cool. The facility isn't the fanciest but still clean and spacious. I had two students working on my hair (Hailey and Angie) and I think the instructor was a really nice woman named Brit. All three were wonderful, nice, and super talented. I definitely recommend and will be returning!

Got my hair done by Stephanie , and I was amazed at how she made my hair look, they are shiny and beautiful and she did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend this salon.
