I’ve been seeing psychiatrists, therapists, and counselors since I was 16 and it was always a struggle to find a doctor that I felt authentically connected with, trusted enough to actually share with, and that wasn’t just looking to overmedicate or experiment this and that on me in my quest for inner peace and authentic outward/inward happiness. I found exactly what I was looking for over 10 years ago when I met Dr. Jennie (Krull) who was actually working for/with the dr I was seeing at that time and was filling in for him while he was on sabbatical in the Middle East. I have seen her and only her ever since. She truly truly cares and it is evident through her passion in what she does. Dr. Jennie is not only versed in meds/side effects/etc, she is on top of anything and everything that is current within the mental health field!

Ex: My daughter (who has Asperger’s and an iq of 189) started seeing her in her mid teens after seeing other psychs that just medicated her to the point of comatose/wouldn’t listen/would get mad at her objections (scientific objections, at that)/etc. Once again, a true connection was made. Dr. Jennie recommended this test that uses DNA to map variations that may predispose people to addictions, disorders, etc, and what meds would be the most compatible based on neurotransmitter deficiencies/opulence. She even made sure it was covered by our insurance before recommending it.

My daughter was beyond enamored with not only the modern science used, but that Dr. Jennie talked to her directly about it all first (instead of just me, her mom, as other doctors did). It made my daughter feel autonomous in her diagnosis and treatment and she also felt a kindred vibe in how superbly intelligent Dr. Jennie was/is (which was also hard to find because when your iq is 189, chances are likely that you’re sometimes smarter than the doctors you’re seeing and it was finally not the case). My daughters outlook and issues did a 180 after she started seeing her and now she is married, lives in Germany, and will be attending medical school there next year, an ending I never thought was possible based on her depression, disinterest, and behavioral issues prior.

I have no clue where Dr. Jennie finds the time to be so well read, so dedicated, authentically empathetic, and involved with her patients, while balancing her life, but I truly thank the universe for her as she is a rare find and a gift, indeed.

I will be forever ingratiated to Dr. Jennie in what she did to guide/treat my daughter, the impact she had on my life, and the difference she continues to make in my life and I most likely wouldn’t be alive had I not met her!
