Soy paciente de la Dra. Meena desde hace 5 meses, Yo vine a su clínica buscando ayuda en relación a mi condición de salud que no era muy buena, tenía mi nivel de azúcar muy elevado, mi A1C estaba sobre 10, pesaba 204 lbs. En adición mi tiroides, colesterol, alta presión, anemia fuera de control y otros problemas más de salud.
Estaba bastante frustrada por no saber como controlar todos estos problemas de salud, tomaba mucha medicina e inyectándome insulina, pero no veía mejoría positiva, todo esto nos hizo a mi esposo y a mi buscar otra opción y después de dialogar, decidimos buscar en el internet clínicas y doctores que pudieran ayúdame a mejorar mi salud, después de tanto buscar en el internet mi esposo encontró una clínica que nos pareció que seria una buena opción, enseguida llamamos a esta clínica (Heal n cure) esta algo retirado, ( Wellness Center in Glenview, IL.).
Decidimos ir, hicimos una cita y recuerdo que en la 1ª visita/consulta, la Dra. Meena me pregunto, tu quieres curarte? Yo enseguida dije pues si, ella me dijo “Yo te voy a curar”. Yo poco incrédula pensé, que va a hacer para curarme? Hasta ahorita después de 21 años con diabetes nadie me había podido ayudar, pero mi alegría y asombro fue tan grande cuando después de unas semanas de estar asistiendo a consulta, empecé a bajar de peso, la Dra. Meena empezó a quitarme mucha medicina y a darme vitaminas y después de otras semanas mas me quito la insulina, para mi fue algo muy grande, no esperaba que pasara esto en tan poco tiempo. Y seguía bajando de peso.
Me siento muy contenta, agradecida y satisfecha con el trabajó que la dra. Meena y todo su equipo están haciendo, en verdad que le doy gracias a Dios por ponerme a la Dra. Meena y todo su equipo en mi camino. Hoy en día después de 5 meses de tratamiento, he logrado bajar 44 Lbs. Y estoy en 160 lbs. Mi nivel de azúcar esta más bajo, mi A1C está en 7.1, ahora me siento con más energía y con mucho entusiasmo para seguir adelante.

Heal n Cure works! If you want to get to the root of your health issue I recommend Heal n Cure. I came to Heal n Cure with concern of high blood pressure. After years and years of working with Western Medicine doctors with worsening symptoms, more medications and dismal outlook I contacted Dr. Meena at Heal N Cure hopeful that Functional Medicine would provide some answers. I’m a glad I did!

I had a really unfortunate experience here. I found the doctor and office manager to be condescending and unpleasant, nevertheless I signed up for their recommended treatments because I thought it might help me. One of the treatments turned out to be so excruciatingly painful that I was unable to complete the session. The office manager came in and told me there was something wrong with my body that led to the painful treatment. When I asked her what it was, she was unable to explain, but insisted it was definitely my fault, not theirs.

Anyway, it took a while, but I eventually got a refund for my unused sessions, however they declined to refund me for the session I was unable to complete. It was absolutely outlandish...I had to pay $340 for privilege of excruciating pain and bodily insults. Run, don't walk away from this place.

I am excited to share that my experience has been great! My original focus was weight management. As I progressed with the program, Dr. Meena paid a lot of attention to the treatment of my diabetes and she told me that I may be able to stop taking insulin. While that sounded good, I was a bit of a skeptic. We'll 2 1/2 months later, I am no longer taking insulin. I can hardly believe it, but it's true. I've been taking insulin for at least 30 years. I look forward to what's to come on my health journey.

Dr. Meena and her team recommended a treatment plan that, in my view, included unnecessary tests and scans for my condition. For instance, the plan involved brain scans and tests to measure the flexibility of my veins, which I found excessive and unnecessary. I asked whether all these tests were required upfront or if I could start with a basic blood test to determine if further evaluations were needed. My suggestion was dismissed. Despite spending time completing their extensive paperwork and questionnaire, which detailed my medical history, the doctor barely reviewed it. It became clear that the primary focus of this practice was not patient care, but maximizing profit.
