I have heard a lot of conversations about Great Oak Counseling and wanted to share what I have heard. This place helps people that are looking for a place for someone to listen to them and be honest with them about what is going on in their life to become less stressed and function better. What I have heard is that they are very comforting and listen to you to come up with a plan to help you be better prepared for the future and prepare you to be able to cope with what happens in your life. I have heard this from many people and just wanted to share this information to be able to help people out find the correct place to go in struggling times.

If I could’ve zero stars, I would. I posted this same review on their Facebook and they have since blocked me…. So I guess they don’t want the public finding out about their shady practices. Facebook review is pasted below. 🫶🏻☺️

This is arguably the worst establishment in the area. My therapist left Great Oak and they invoked a non-compete. I went MONTHS without receiving services from someone that I’d built rapport with because of the way Great Oak treated myself and my therapist. On top of this, I had SO MANY billing issues with Great Oak. Overcharging me and then not billing me at all, on top of their lack of consistent communication. If you value your time and money, do yourself a favor and do not see anyone here. Great Oak, I’m sure, has great counselors and psychologists. That’s where I found mine. However, Great Oak does not care about their clients or their employees. They only care about their money.
