My husband and I had the pleasure of being introduced to Laurie Kaplan by our functional medicine practitioner. We came to her with different goals but mostly wanting help with cleaning up our diets in order to have optimum health. Laurie began with some easy genetic testing to determine personalized goals for each of us. We then began a sixth month journey meeting with her in video sessions as well as keeping a food journal that she was able to review In real time. In doing these things, we were able to make some positive and lasting changes to our diets and lifestyles.

I was most impressed with how gently the process of slow change occurred while working with Laurie. It helps so much when you understand how the foods you eat directly affect how your body works. It’s no longer about “losing weight” for me, it’s about helping my body to get the nutrients it needs to operate most efficiently.

Laurie was with me every step of the way and answered all my questions. Her passion for what she does became evident instantaneously. She was wonderful.
