I will forever cherish and be grateful for my time spent at Gateway, it was everything I never knew I needed. Even after leaving you still have a way to connect to everyone, and be able to see everyone continue to thrive and that is so special to me. I gained the biggest family ever thanks to Gateway, one that I can turn to for support if/whenever I need it.

To those still suffering, if you happen to see this just remember it's ok to not be ok, but you don't have to suffer alone. Getting help is scary, I understand, but Gateway can help save your life you just have to let them. It'll be ok in the end, so if it's not ok, then it's not the end. 🫶🏼

I was sexually assaulted this early morning 1/24/25. Then they wouldn’t let me call the police to report anything until I started to ask why and they seen I was serious. Counselor waited 10 days to even start talking to me as well and by then I was already over the idea of this place.

Fantastic residential facility that addresses the cooccurence of mental health and addiction. Truly a great program that goes beyond the common 12-step focus and deals with mental health concurrently. Top-notch!!!!!

Great treatment center. Staff and counselors are super friendly and you can tell everyone genuinely cares about every patient that walks through the doors. It's an incredibly safe place to heal, learn, feel, recover and really come into your own. Groups, counseling sessions all if it was life changing.

This place and the people in it saved my life. If it wasn't for Carbondale gateway and all the amazing staff I wouldn't be who I am today. For them I am so grateful. If you or anyone you know is struggling, even if you've already tired getting help before, if you haven't tried Gateway you really should call! I promise it's worth it. I see some negative reviews but I'm here to tell you it works if you work it. If you keep an open ear , participate, and keep an open mind it can and will change your life for the better. You have to listen and learn. This place is where you learn everything you could need to know about addiction. They also now have counselors who were in recovery themselves. You go Gateway team. I applaud you all. And thanks for being there for me.

They're the worst place to go get help 5 to 16 medications a day. Stole my shavor and my inhaler. Threatened me 2 times bout I can't get my phone till Monday and tried to call the cops on me to get off there property for nothing. They're racist and ignorant. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone. Also 3 of them like pushing me to the road. I live 2 1/2 hours away no water nothing. And no I didn't damage anything. I was in the trauma area and they gave me more trauma. Obviously they shouldn't work with trauma people if they're just going to throw them to the street. And a cop drove buy never asked if I need help what is wrong with this world. Also they we're saying stuff bout their other patients in the past, Killing themselves and etc.

I can't say enough good things from the admission, counselors to dietary they really made sure everything was taken care of so I could focus on me. I left there loving myself something I haven't been able to do in a very long time. My counselor deneesha was very welcoming and supportive the whole way through.
