Not sure if things have changed but based on the recent reviews I’d say they haven’t.
While Dr. Canaley is of herself kind that’s as far as my memories of the good go.
My refills were always late (which anyone worth their weight in salt knows is never a good things in any field of medicine) the office staff could care less if they were there.
We ended up seeing Dr.Jaclyn hall Davis who was much closer to us and by far the best psychiatrist I have ever been to to date. Probably the only doctor I’d be willing to pay out of pocket for.

She diagnosed me with ocd when i was in third grade and was my psychiatrist for years until she relocated. Unlike other psychiatrists, she actually listened and spent time with patients. My first visits were spent playing games so that we could create a bond. The psychiatrist i had after her was HORRIBLE. I had to wait over and hour to get called back only for him to spend two minutes talking to me just to tell me I would never get better. Anyways, Dr Canaley is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anybody.

She took over my mother as a patient when her regular dr. retired but wanted her to wait 4 months before she would see her, knowing that she needed several very important medications refilled and would not refill them without being seen. When I called on behalf of my mom I got hung up on because they didn't like the questions I was asking, like if the medications are so vital to her well being why were they ok with her not being on it for 4 months? They said that since she missed an appointment that was her fault and they wouldn't see her or help her any sooner, but my mother tried to get her appointment changed but the office never answered their phone, as other people have mentioned. This Dr. only seems to care about getting as many patients as she can, but cares nothing about them whatsoever. PLEASE FIND A BETTER CHOICE BEFORE GOING HERE, YOU AND YOUR FAMILY DESERVE BETTER.

I waited 35 minutes on hold to see if I could make a new patient appointment for my child. During which time, the call was picked up and immediately placed on hold again at least twice with no conversation at all. Then the call was disconnected. I never got to speak with anyone. Not one word. I don't have time for that.

Do not recommend!!! If you would like to have a steady relationship with Dr. Canaley regarding your child's needs and/or keep up with medication regimens we highly advise to seek professional help elsewhere. Office staff is worse!
