I did not have a positive experience with Counseling Speaks, I don't have enough negative things to say about their lack of professionalism, rude condescending emails about how if you're not suicidal you're a waste of their time so see them exactly as they prescribe, or, you have to send them months of back and forth emails saying please take you off the list completely, ignore their emails faulting you that you aren't looking out for your medical needs, as I had to do. It's not an ER; they need to be able to convey the direction of their services up-front and not fault the potential clients when values don't align. I discuss a lot of this conflict now with a therapist that is a much better fit for me whom I see weekly and respects and listens to my needs on a much more highly attentive basis.

Counseling Speaks has great therapists and good coordination. It's easy to schedule and they are very flexible. The therapists are great and very helpful. I definitely recommend.

Counseling speaks has offered the most compassionate and healing therapy experience, I couldn't ask for a better team of professionals. They have proven to be truly invested in their quality of care, being flexible and understanding, and taking the time to find the right fit. Every clinician has been exceptionally caring and knowledgeable, along with a wonderful supervisor who has been beyond patient and caring in her guidance.

Ive been a patient here off and on for about four years and I have worked with a coupled different clinicians. All have been so kind and welcoming. The office manager is super sweet and accommodating. They have supported me in the darkest moments and I am so grateful for this team and Im happy I was able to find a place to my home. I Highly recommend it. Don't be afraid to talk about your true feelings because this practice cares about your well being and listens to your needs.

It’s been an amazing experience so far! Just started but everything is going smooth, was able to get in asap and no wait time at all, the staff does a really great job putting together the correct therapist with the right patients including me. It’s been wonderful!

After I did the intake process, I was assigned a counselor.I began working with the counselor and it was going well as far as the relationship. However, on multiple occasions, my session was interrupted by their CEO for various reasons. ( she locked herself out of her office, various phone calls that my counselor was pulled out to answer(presumably other client's etc). After several sessions , On one session, i was asked on the spot if the CEO could observe the session come to find out that the counselor I was seeing was still still working on licensure requirements and needed to be observed in session. I said yes but really felt like something like that should have been asked well in advance. After working with my counselor for months I was called on a late Friday night, that they had another counselor in mind for me and set an appointment for the next morning. I set the appointment but really wasn't feeling great about what was happening. I came in the morning and the counselor was late and from what I understand was not told they had an appointment with me until that morning. I switched to this counselor because my former one had been pulled to cover other clients. I once again established a relationship with my new counselor and spent about 5 months with her. Then I received an email that I had an appointment with another counselor at some random time!!!!! The next evening I received a phone call telling me that my current counselor was no longer with them and they wanted me to switch again! Telling me that I wouldn't have to start again because they are a collaborative unit and discuss and compare notes on me and all their clients. OMG. Maybe they don't have to start over but really. Such disrespect on my boundaries and my relationships. I emailed them and told them that I would not be using their services and that I would no longer be a monkey in their circus.
