My daughter loves attending her weekly therapy sessions at Come Play. We are so grateful for finding this place and all the care/patience/guidance that has been shown by her OT, Abby, for my daughter’s sensory issues. We have seen much improvement and a huge boost in my daughter’s self esteem/confidence since starting here. Her father and I are so grateful and excited to see how more sessions will continue to benefit her.

My son has been coming to Come Play for about a year and a half now. He looks forward to every visit and LOVES working with his OT, Abby. I'm often impressed by her insight into my child's behavior and motivators. She knows him well and, because of that, I believe she is able to coax more out of him in their sessions. I highly recommend Abby and Come Play, STL.

I truly did not want to like this place. After being alienated from my children for 5 years, I did not want to have to pay a penny more to be reunited with them. I also was skeptical about potential conflict of interests. However, after several sessions I saw the genuine regard for my children's well-being and have been 100% flipped in my opinion of Come Pla, STL. My previous review was harsh, but I have since built trust with my children's OT, Marjorie who is incredibly patient, kind, and compassionate with my two children. For that I am eternally grateful! I would definitely recommend this place to others.

There are plenty of stimulating activities to keep children engaged while they sort through emotional difficulties.

Having been apart of the Education System and working with Special Needs Children this place is a breath of fresh air. Come Play, STL, is a positive and charming place where kids can find their comfort zone. The facility offers a bright, upbeat, and calming environment for the areas of therapy treated. The owner and her staff bring fun and happy concept to the stereotypical negative industry. Keep up the great work!

I've been impressed with how thorough the final report was and how quickly I started to see results with my daughter. She asks regularly if it's the day she gets to go to OT, and if it isn't she gets very sad. We are very happy with the care we received from Come Play, STL.

Come Play, STL is an amazing place for children and families. Their clinicians are talented, kind, and welcoming. Their facility is full of fun toys, lots of light, color, and snacks. They have adapted to telehealth with the challenges of Covid-19 while continuing to provide excellent care for kids. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for OT, SLP, or Play Therapy resources.

I was looking for a place to help my daughter start working through her emotions, and ComePlay STL told me they could help. I went through an hour long intake over zoom where I was reassured they could help my daughter, and even made an appt for her to come in. The owner emailed me a week later saying they could not help me because they were short staffed. This email was AFTER they assured me my daughter would be seen and had an appt set up. They are very unprofessional and clearly do not have open communication about how many therapists they have available. They gave me false hope after I shared intimate details about my situation. I am extremely disappointed in this company and would not waste my time trying to schedule anything, as they do not even know what they have available.

We have quite an experience with therapy for having only a 3 year old. Everything from First Steps (4 therapists), to private pay in-school therapy, to other private therapy, at the university, at a clinic, at our house, etc. We are at Come Play for sensory issues. I like Come Play so far, I think. The therapists seem young, which has been a detriment to us in the past (they didn't recognize Gestalt learning, or what what it was, for example). The more experienced therapists have been much more beneficial in our situation but I won't judge that aspect until we've been here longer.

The office itself is a bit worn. It looks like it was cute 4 years ago. The chairs are really stained, for example. I love the location, though. Finally something in the City.

The sessions are 45 min and I'm private pay since they are not part of my insurance. A couple times she was 10 min late getting us. Also a couple times 5 min early coming out. That results in basically a 30 min service for $120.

I'm undecided if I'll stick with it. If I start to see results/changes I will, but I think there are probably decent alternatives to look at.

Update: in the end, I didn't continue here. The therapist provided us the brushing technique and some paperwork but my child's in-school OT coincidentally also did a few weeks later. She emphasized many important details about the brushing method (and demonstrated it on me) that were not conveyed at Come Play. This was enough for me to not continue.
