Oh my gosh y’all! If you haven’t checked out this awesome resale store, what are you waiting for I love everything about it…everything is so organized and beautiful and they have my favorite brands including luxury designer brands! And the customer service! These ladies are so sweet and helpful…they really know their stuff! I went in yesterday and walked out with a great little jewelry haul! If you love digging in jewelry, go check them out! I got several designer pieces that were in clearance and I love them!

If you want good customer service do NOT go here. You can truly go anywhere else for better service. I also don’t understand how the manager won’t take accountability for any of the poor customer service reviews as you can see while you scroll through. I came the other day to shop as I normally do and saw one of the employees roll their eyes when someone came to drop off items to sell without even looking at the items.

I absolutely love shopping and selling here. I can ALWAYS find something that I can't leave without. The customer service is outstanding. The store is so clean an organized. When I sell things, I always take store credit because you get 25% more. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

This is one of the most ageist places I have ever been to, and based on the reviews, I am not the only one who thinks so. I am not mad if my clothes are not taken, in fact I have sold a good amount of clothes here, usually my moms that she is getting rid of, but I don't think this store understands that Millennials are now all adults and have different style, and are also huge spenders when it comes to resale. I have actually had other women come up and offer to buy rejected clothes in the parking lot after I leave. This last time I had a ton of NWT Abercrombie and like new fall vegan leather pants that were never worn and retail for 150 - 250, all were rejected. Meanwhile Abercrombie is one of the most sought after resale brands on mercari, thredup, poshmark, etc. I highly recommend doing more research on emerging trends if you want to be sustainable to new customers who are outgrowing platos closet, which you seem to have so much disdain for. Instead, you use it to insult others when you should recognize the prime opportunity to bring in new customers who are aging up and out of teens and early 20s fashion.

As others have mentioned, the manager is very rude. I have noticed if I go in to sell in sweats and lounge wear, you are profiled and told to go to platos closet, so I had to get in the habit of dressing up just to go in this store. Every other time I go in I am bombarded without provocation by which brands they take etc. etc. without me even saying a word.

The other employees are actually very nice, and whenever I do go in I try to make a point to avoid the manager and only interact with them for my own sanity. Honestly someone needs to start a new store for working adults that actually understand style and taste change with each generation.

To the manager, I see that you feel the need to respond and justify your actions whenever someone writes a bad review. Please do not feel the need to do this here, I am done coming in, and would rather send my clothes off to Thredup, or donate my clothes to women's shelters, than endure being made to feel less than in your store.

I love Clothes Mentor!!
Every time I come in here I leave with at least a few amazing finds.
It is neat, extremely well-organized, well-labeled, and there is plenty of space in the aisles to move around and start a collection to try on!
The ladies here are extremely helpful, and they even have team members who will help you shop for your preferences and body type. They’re always full of good ideas!
They have regular discount racks, tons of cute shoes, a plethora of jewelry options, and even high end bags to choose from. Not my thing, but they have Louis Vuitton, etc.
Their emails are HELPFUL, not just junk like some stores.
I’ve only sold clothes to them once, but they are PICKY (but really fast). Which is GREAT for buying here! I can rest assured that nothing has hidden stains, tears, worn out fabrics, etc.

Clothes Mentor makes good clothing affordable and fun!!
