I usually dress for comfort, but I start my first corporate job tomorrow, so I needed something new. When I arrived, my mom was already being helped by the amazing Marianne. She kept finding clothes that made me feel confident—many of which I would have never chosen for myself! Her eye for style and warm personality made the whole experience enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back every Saturday to shop and visit her. Thank you, Marianne, for helping me feel ready for this next chapter!

One of my favorite places to shop. Carrie and staff always go out of their way to say hi. They always recognize me, ask me how they help, offer to take the clothes off my hands to set up a dressing room. My sister visited from out of state and I had a birthday coupon which they offered to my sister as well. Such great finds and great prices there!

This is my favorite retail store in the entire state. Incredible selection, designer brands, very reasonable prices, constant sales and clearance, an owner who always goes the extra mile and somehow remembers the names of her frequent costumers, and fun events. Plus great staff! I drive from Boulder to visit/sell clothes at least 2-3 times a month and it’s always worth the time. This is my happy place!

XXXL SHOUT OUT to YOU - Marianne!

Thank you for all your help today. I came in to just browse around. I have only been to the store a handful of times. I was looking at coats and found a few brand-new ones that I really liked and bought.

She brought me over to look at blazers. I wear petite and it’s difficult for me to find ones that fit right. Marianne helped me try on a ton of them and provided feedback. I was able to able to find SEVERAL that I LOVED and also purchased. She is caring, helpful, honest, and so, so sweet! It was like having a personal shopper!!

We gave each other a big hug when I left. Clothes Mentor is lucky to have Marianne!

The lady who checked me out was also very friendly (I didn’t catch her name) - everyone who works there was so nice. I will be back. Keep up the AMAZING work!!

This review has nothing to do with the stores inventory or what items they do or do not accept. No opinion there...

The staff made me feel unwelcome from the moment I walked in. It reminded me of the scene from Pretty Woman—I was spoken to as if I didn’t belong there. A little kindness and respect go a long way, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking here.

I will not be returning, and I hope the store reconsiders how they interact with customers, regardless of whether they are consignors or buyers. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect.

Terrible experience here. My wife of color was completely ignored by the associate. I mention of color because the associate had no problem talking and helping everyone else in the store but was obviously snubbing my wife.
