My Ollie has been coming here for 6 months. He started when he was 6 months old. From day 1, the staff is amazing and really into dogs.

We were required to schedule an initial evaluation visit. The staff was so sensitive to the cues that Ollie was giving off during that visit, and they worked to put him with other dogs (taking into account dog size, age, temperament and quantity of dogs) that would lead to a successful first visit. At the 4th visit, my sensitive and overly attached whippet was so excited to go in to see his doggie friends that he did not even look back at me when they took him away!

I highly recommend this place. I have never seen a dog or dog owner express in any way apprehension or dissatisfaction with their experience here. I feel like Ollie has found a second home in the best way possible!

The owner and staff has been super lenient and kind. I love that it's a cage free facility! My aussie comes home exhausted after playing all day. The side events like stories, holiday pictures, etc is to die for! I love how fun they make it for owners to see these interactive activities. I do hope they take more daily pictures and videos of all of them playing. This daycare is also very affordable considering my dog comes 3 times a week. Penny is very happy here!

I can’t believe I haven’t given Camp Ruff It five stars sooner! I have two dogs who attend regularly, and my older dog is 8 years old and began attending at 6 months. My dogs absolutely LOVE the staff-they go twice a week and have been on many overnights. The staff is friendly, warm, and truly care for each dog there. One of my dogs has allergies and they are very careful to follow all instructions for her to ensure her good health. They are like family to our girls, and Camp is their home away from home! ❤️

We have three dogs and travel a lot and absolutely love bringing the pups here to board! They always have a great time! The staff always keeps us updated and post cute pictures and videos of them while we are gone! The dogs are always happy when we bring them inside which tells me they have fun while they are there! I love that they don’t put them in kennels to sleep because they never do that at home. They even read them bedtime stories which I think is absolutely adorable! Would always trust bringing them here and the staff are always so nice and caring!

I recently brought my wonderful puppy in for a screening. I really had my hopes up to find a great local daycare. Unfortunately that dream was shattered.
My puppy has been through plenty of socialization and multiple training classes. Since our screening we have started attending My Family Pet Sitting in West Chicago and they absolutely adore my pup and have had to problems.
At Camp Ruff It, I was told my dog was not ready for daycare and the manager I spoke to was incredibly rude. When I tried to ask for clarification on what went wrong the manager brushed me off and got very defensive. I asked how my dog was tested and they said she got to nervous. When I saw the play area on camera, it was clearly not managed and the employee was on their phone ignoring the dogs. I really think I dodged a bullet. The unprofessional was ridiculous.

We LOVE Camp Ruff It! Especially since it's been under new ownership. Our 1 dog is more mellow and our other one is VERY hyper and both are tired when they get home. One thing we love about it is the enrichment they provide; they're not just sitting around all day (although my one dog would choose that, anyways, lol). For additional pricing (not much at ALL), they have Kongs & puzzle & lickmats. They also do special events like celebrating national banana day and do banana splits. Do I get sucked in every time to purchase something, YES (but trust me, they do not push it; I just love spoiling my dogs.) I've seen photos where they read to the dogs who stay overnight, photos where they are playing with bubbles, etc. We are so lucky to have Lori and her team taking such great care of our dogs while we are at work. We would recommend Camp to ANYONE!
