Didn’t even bother to do a heart ceremony for any of my 3 kids. This was my second time at this location and both times I went they didn’t do it.
So I asked the girl who made the bears and rang us out if that was no longer something they do and she said “it’s policy that we do it every time unless the kids are scared.”
I went with a 2, 3 and 9 year old and all of them were exited and helping make the bears. She knew she messed up in that sense. I was a bit annoyed because why else would I be having my phone out to record them and pay so much just to watch someone stuff their bear.
I definitely won’t be returning here for another “special” experience.

I love build a bear for my grandkids. that’s why I bought them the advent calendars. unfortunately the calendars showed up today damaged. They’re still usable, but I wish that they were perfect. It wasn’t the shipping that caused the damage. They were damaged before they were put in the box to ship.

Remember how Build a Bear used to be magical? Yeah, that’s all gone. We walked in at lunch on a Friday to get a bear for my son on his birthday. There were 10-15 kids there, nothing crazy. They had 2 people “working”, one hanging out at the cash register not doing anything and one moving at the speed of molasses on the stuffing machine. No one to walk you through the stations or explain anything. We grabbed our bear and then stood in line for TWO HOURS to get stuffing. No acknowledgment or apology or anything. For a $40 teddy bear, you’re paying for a great experience. This was horrible.

I brought my daughter to get a “pay your age birthday bear” for the first time- for her birthday today, and unfortunately I’m very disappointed in the experience we had. Right when we walked in, not one employee greeted us or asked if we needed help with anything today. There was only one customer and 4 employees and all continued on with whatever they were doing, one lady was playing with the bear stuffing while another was just sweeping the floors and not one person said a word or asked if we needed any assistance, we were basically ignored and treated like we weren’t even there, after about 5 minutes I walked over to the register myself to ask if everyone was too busy to help? THEN finally one person wanted to act like they wanted to do their job.. and they did the BARE MINIMUM. The only thing the employees did for my daughter’s “Birthday Bear” experience was stuff her Bear. They didn’t bother to ask if she wanted a sound/song or scent added to her bear, they didn’t help her pick out her clothing or even instruct her on how to create her birth certificate. The only reason we got any of that done on our own was because I had previously taken my son and he had a way better experience than she did today. If you’re going to act miserable when kids are coming in on their birthdays to get a birthday Bear, then you need to find a new job. This isn’t the place for you. Next time I’ll have to take my kids to a different BAB location, this one sucks!

Got my valentines gift .I love going here but prices almost doubled. And you now got to pay for cardboard box to put you item in. They were free. You'd think owner would give customers at least the box carrier. Wow ....

Okay so I would have given this place 5* easy but them only having 2 employees made it hard to enjoy, especially because we went at noon which seems to be rush hour there... I'll come back without a doubt but likely when my daughter is older, we took her to get a birthday bear (which they were out of) but they replaced it with the brownie cub bear instead and we still got the birthday price which was nice. The 2 young ladies working were very kind and doing their best to help everyone, while children are screaming and parents are getting mad about the wait which was totally out of the employees control they kept their cool and got everyone helped and out with what they needed.
