My daughter has been going here for a few months now, and it has really boosted her confidence and discipline. Master Tony and Sr. Instructor Cristina not just teach the techniques but also give tips on life skills. The focus is more on learning than just handing out the belts. Blackhawk Taekwondo has been a great blessing and true investment for our son. Next month will mark our one year anniversary with them and thus far, this institution has helped to recognize his strengths and abilities and helped him to be respectful and polite with others. Both of the instructors are amazing and work extremely hard- they love kids and give out their love and care. They are great role models for this current generation, while being warm, kind, patient and at the same time firm with the children (just what our son needed). They are true professionals who are truly compassionate and want to teach all the techniques the correct way! We have received multiple positive comments from our sons school for having shown a positive change in his behavior and for treating his family members with lots of respect, love, and care. We are really looking forward to seeing what else our son will learn from this amazing program! He really enjoys coming to class, learning something new, and sharing it with his friends and family!

My son has being going here for over a year.This is family own place, and great knowledgeable instructors work here. Kids actually are not only kicking and learning form but also have hands on experience in fighting! If anyone wants to teach their kids or even adults great techniques, discipline knowledge of protection should come here.

Master Tony and Instructor Cristina are amazing. Great way for the kids to learn respect and how to follow instructions. Instructor Cristina really takes the time to make sure the kids understand the directions being given, and will make sure to give individualized attention if needed. So happy we found them!

My daughter has been going to Blackhawk Taekwondo for some time now. She was this shy scared girl that wouldn’t do anything. She begged me for weeks to try it. Now she is this girl that loves doing class. Loves having Master Toni and Sr Instructor Cristina teach her everything she knows. We love how they push you to be better not just in martial arts but in life also. I teach my daughter that you have to work for everything in life. This is the only school that backs my teaching.

Master Tony and Instructor Christina are excellent with the kids. They are firm and expect respect but are also kind and understanding. I especially appreciate that they allow 3 year olds to start TaeKwonDo while most local places do not accept children until 4 or 5.

Everyone in my family is enrolled in the training and we are loving it. We enjoy the classes, have fun together and learn about self discipline, leadership and self defense plus it's great workout, Master Tony and Instructor Thomas are really great teachers!

Both of my kids have been coming here since last summer. The people here are amazing. They have a little champions class that my daughter started off in, but recently moved out, a family class for all ages that don’t qualify for the little champions class, and an adult class which I started in December. The little champions class is amazing. The children adore Instuctor Thomas. They have a seperate belt system at their age to keep them motivated along with stripes and do good dollars. He checks in with parents and makes sure there behaving at home in order to keep them motivated. Which by the way works amazing for the little ones.
My older son has been loving the classes as well. I have noticed that since last year his concentration has gone up and some of his grades have as well. Not to mention the physical aspect of it. He’s definitely gained some confidence from it. I have to force them to take a day off every once in a while because they don’t want to be away from here. One of the things I love most about this place is that your just always surrounded by nice and caring people. The children are well behaved and everybody just treats everyone with respect. It’s nice to have found a place that doesn’t care about money, they care more about each and every child/person and how they can become better.
