Have gone here on several occasions. The tacos are sometimes randomly ice cold as if they were thrown in the freezer. The staff often times are rude and on edge as seen in other reviews this really needs to change. It's a shame I really enjoy the food the chain has to offer but the service is really poor over half the time. Really needs new management super poorly run. I do not think giving a email to talk about this will help considering it will be to talk to management that is the root cause of these problems anyways. I have gone to different locations of Barrio in ohio and have never gotten as bad food or service quite like this one. Poor management not a poor chain.

My friends and I came here a few nights ago, only to be disappointed with the POOR service. Our first server had an off demeanor and we felt rushed and unwanted followed by a few eye rolls. We found a hair in our salsa and asked for a replacement, and her response made us feel needy for wanting a new one. We felt like we were nice to her and not that needy and understand that people can have bad days. But our second server had the same attitude. Along with this, the music was BLARING and we could barely hear each other. Overall, our experience was unwelcoming and we will not be coming back :((((

We’ve eaten here on occasion over the years and it’s always been a good experience. Fresh, tasty, and a quick bite in DTW. Today, the kitchen was backed up for some reason and our group waited about an hour for our food. After an hour of waiting, we decided to pay for our drinks and apps and leave to go elsewhere, but the manager (Mark) stepped in, apologized for the delay, and made it right. 5 stars for great customer service.

Both my tacos were completely drenched in sauce. Which made the taco shells saugy ! They were completely disgusting. Plus they gave me the worst stomach ache ever. My whole bum fell into the toilet . If you’re gonna eat here be prepared to be glued to a toilet and completely unsatisfied.

Taco Tuesday brings $1 off tacos!
I got 3 different kind of tacos. I always seem to have to get the special, which for July was the jerk chicken. The cilantro rice with the mango salsa was so fresh and pleasant.
I ALWAYS have to get Coca-Cola marinaded steak. They did hike up the price a little for the steak since my last visit but I honestly go here FOR it. The steak is always tender!
My 3rd option was the Thai chili tofu which the flavor is amazing! I will say the tofu has been cooked better, this time it seemed dry. Like it was almost sitting out for a bit. The tacos are very filling and I recommend the green goddess taco shell. The guacamole in the shell is super fresh and adds great taste to whatever you choose to put in the taco.
We also ordered buffalo chicken queso as an appetizer, and requested the Bleu Cheese on the side since he loves it and I don't. This queso is always a joy and delicious.
Our server was friendly and very attentive, making sure our drinks were filled promptly.
The only thing is they crank the ac up to the point my fingers were like ice cubes and we both actually felt uncomfortable. My boyfriend remembered this when we were there a year ago and purposely wore long sleeves even though it was 80 outside just so he wouldn't freeze inside. We just wanted to eat and leave with how cold it was inside. Again, this is a problem we had going August 2021 and this time July 2022. I get the cooks want a colder atmosphere since they get warm, but I had to sit on my hands in the middle of eating food!
Overall a great place, but I will go on a nice day that I can sit outside and enjoy the great flavors this place produces with their food.
