Athletico is amazing! Mary Kate (MK) was one of the first people in the health space who I felt like really listened to me. She made me feel welcomed and comfortable. By doing physical therapy with her at Athletico, I was able to open up a new chapter in my life. I am forever grateful for her and Athletico. I probably talk about the benefits of physical therapy to everyone I meet. So happy and grateful with my results!

Therapy has been a great recovering experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is professional and friendly, and the clinic itself is clean and well-equipped. Each therapist took the time to listen to my concerns and tailored a program specifically to address my needs. I want to begin by sharing my initial experience with Athletico, which started in Mt. Greenwood. Every therapist and staff member there was exceptionally professional, patient, and kind. Because of that positive experience, I decided to book an appointment at the Morgan Park/Blue Island location and was assigned to Michael Amaro.

I arrived at 5:30 PM for my 6:00 PM appointment, but I wasn't seen until 6:10 PM, and there was no acknowledgement of the delay. During the appointment, I found his demeanor to be rude and impatient. He didn’t ask how I was feeling or what my physical therapy goals were. When I expressed my hope to improve by January, he dismissively replied, “I can't make any guarantees.”

As I explained other physical challenges I was facing, he responded with comments like, “If you don't like what I have to offer, you need to go somewhere else.” This pattern continued, as nearly every question I asked was met with the same refrain about not being able to guarantee results and suggesting I might be better off going somewhere else if I did like what he had to offer, In fact, he stated that many times.

In my opinion, he exhibited a lack of professionalism and was crass ,imprudent, contemptuous and tactless as a therapist. As a result of this experience, I cancelled my future appointments and will not be returning. Additionally, I want to remind anyone who might respond to this review about HIPAA regulations and clarify that I do not give permission for my personal information to be disclosed.
I wished I had posted ZERO stars.

Athletico Morgan Park has been a very pleasant experience. Nothing but 5 star customer service and physical therapy every visit. The therapy sessions are for my 11 year old track & football athlete (son) who suffered from Patellar tendonitis. Shout-out to Michael for his expertise and proven rehabilitation.

Staff at Morgan Park-Bkue Island, Alexis, Michael, they are A-one. The front desk staff were very welcoming, daily and very attentive and encouraging to the care that was recommended for my injury. They are genuinely concerned with your overall improvement. I highly recommend them.

As soon as I walked into the Morgan Park Athletics the atmosphere was friendly. I felt comfortable coming there as they did amazing work! All staff seemed to be enjoying their job. The facility manager Michael helped me. He knew what he was doing and did a wonderful job! The pain I was experiencing soon vanished and I was at peace again. I’m so glad I was able to find the help I needed with these amazing therapists! Thank you so much!
