Hi my name is Michelle I'm a patient here and I have autism spectrum disorder.i left the office crying because I felt kicked out 😭 😭 so I had an Uber come get me to take me to the Nami dupage crisis center because I started escalating and crying bad. My doctor didn't help me but the crisis team at Nami dupage did an awesome job . When I got there I was crying and sobbing and said I was kicked out of my appointment. I have to continue to go to this doctor for my meds though . My psychiatrist didn't understand what kind of shape I'm in. I just gotta remember don't tell her about my problems she don't care . I'm not worthy 😞 😞 maybe she was discriminating against me because of my purple hair Maybe discrimination for being underweight I wish I knew 😞 😭

The people in this office have saved my life on more than one occasion, I truly wouldn’t be here without them. From my first breakdown as a child, to impatient stays, diagnoses, ETC treatments, PHP and IOP, medication therapy, everything was done with kindness and a deep sense of compassion. Dr. Anwar and Erica Eyas in particular have both worked tirelessly over the years to help me achieve stability. No matter what I’m facing, it always feels like they’re in my corner. They listen closely, they don’t push anything that I’m uncomfortable with, be that medication or other interventions, and at the end of the day, they treat me like a living, breathing human being, not just an appointment in their schedule. I also see Jolene Frazier for counseling, and she’s just as much of a gem. If you need someone to cut to the chase and tell you like it is, she’s your lady. These people have gotten me through some of the darkest times in my life, and I can’t recommend more highly. If you’re looking for a capable and experienced psychiatric team to trust with your care, look no further.
