It takes rare gems💎 to turn their pain into not just helping themselves rather helping others. This rare gem 💎 after losing her 2 sisters in the same year 😢 at very young ages started an exercise group of women. This is so needed in our selfish world.

In that group she demonstrated servant leadership and equality amongst all of the women by not making herself center stage rather making each woman involved and celebrated.

We can say for a fact that the pandemic has affected us mentally in ways we never imagined! We need more of empathetic, honest, consistent, authentic and passionate practitioners like Anene Achebe. Thank you 🙏 for all you do!

Would give zero stars if possible. She sat with me for 5 minutes, diagnosed me with a condition I know for a fact I do not have, then told me to take mood stabilizers as a diagnostic tool to rule out the diagnosis. After telling her multiple times I did not want to take medications I don't believe I need, she told me that "they will help you", even though she said they were being used as a diagnostic tool. My partner was also with me during the appointment. Whenever he would ask for clarifying information, such as "how did you come to the diagnosis of x", she said "I wrote it down." When she told me the meds she was pushing "will help (me)", he told her that saying they "will help" was a bit disingenuous, she literally laughed at him. Then she asked me if I had signed a form that stated he "had to be with me", and I told her no, she asked him to leave the room. He is my advocate and she made him leave. After about ten minutes of scrutinized questions about the nature of our relationship, she allowed him to come back in. After refusing medication 5 times, I finally had to relent and let her prescribe the meds but I had no intention of filling them. She put her "official" diagnosis in my chart, which I had to have removed by my PCP. When my partner and I later contacted the group office she was in, we were told our concerns would be investigated and we would hear back in “a few weeks". After a full month went by, I called the office again to speak with Tina, who I believe was the office manager. (I may be mistaken on that point.) After she finally got back with us, her response was basically, you should come back in and see the provider again and work with her to find a resolution and that it's fine if my partner wants to be there but it's generally not good for patients to have family with them during appointments. This was unacceptable, so we called and spoke with Tina directly. She had few answers to our questions and absolutely no indication that what had transpired during that appointment was in any way concerning to their office. We again asked for a better answer than to just come back and see what happens. After a second request for clarity and understanding of why medicines such as mood stabilizers are used as diagnostic tools, we received the following response:
Please see Dr. Frenkel's response below:

I do not find the request and the nature of the questions appropriate. As we discussed already, pt needs to come in to see her provider by herself to discuss and assess her condition.

Thanks
Tina

Dr. Frenkels reply was just plain rude and unhelpful.

Only use this provider or their office if you want to be misdiagnosed and fed pills you don't need. Oh and don't bring an advocate. That really messes with their ability to abuse and misdiagnose you.
Cheers.
