Being healthy is more than a number on the scale... it's a state of mind. Javier listened to what my goals were. He consistently changes the workouts so they are challenging but fun. They also keep me motivated and on track with my fitness objectives. I've never been a heavy person but seeing a personal trainer/wellness coach like Javier has helped me be more knowledgeable about my nutrition and overall health. Javier doesn't believe in rigid routines. He's successful because he genuinely cares about each client and it show in the individualized attention he gives to each person. Choosing to train with Javier is one of the best decisions I've made.

I have been working with Javier for only 3 months as of now, but I am already reaching some milestones and checking goals off of my list.
Javier doesn't just tell you what to do, he teaches the workouts, monitors your diet, and helps you learn to make better decisions so that the changes you make are sustainable and you can leave there confident that you will make healthy choices on your own.
Before I met Javier, I had never been a gym regular, so I was not able to do anything too strenuous. We started slowly and eased into more intense workouts as my fitness level improved, and now I can do things that were impossible only 3 months ago (pushups!) It was clear that he's dealt with many people in my situation before. He is patient and reassuring; this is a process and you can't do it all at once.
We aren't just working out, we are developing a healthy lifestyle.

Javier has been an excellent trainer. I came to him with a strength training plan in mind which he listened to patiently . After a couple of sessions it was clear to me that my plan was unrealistic and he put together a program specifically for me that has built up my endurance and overall strength. Also, he provided excellent insight into how I could best tweak my diet, advising gradual changes in order to have long-term success. Finally, a major reason I hired a trainer is to have someone that holds me accountable and Javier has been supportive and encouraging throughout the process which has been a key to my success.

If you’re serious about loosing weight you should work with Javier. There is no trainer better suited to support you with nutrition information and exercise plans tailored to your level of fitness. When I started working with Javier I struggled to complete basic exercises. He helped me build my fitness from the ground up and never making me feel embarrassed or ashamed for having a low level of fitness (which was my greatest fear about working with a trainer). We’ve been working together about 8 months now and I’m three quarters of the way to my goal weight. A huge part of my success is due to Javier's coaching, which has kept me honest and motivated to continually push myself. He's an attentive listener and follows up on questions posed in previous sessions. His professionalism is only matched by his personality -- which keeps sessions fun even when the exercises are really tough. I'd recommend working with Javier to anyone on a weight loss journey.

I’ve been training with Javier for a year and a half, and in that time he has helped me to completely change my life.

When I started seeing him, I was morbidly obese. My diet consisted of fast food and sweets, with an occasional (relatively unhealthy) homemade meal thrown in. I didn’t work out at all and was very out of shape.

Now, I am 86 lbs lighter, I’ve lost 29.5 inches overall, as well as 20% body fat. I’m still going, and I can’t wait to see where I end up.

Javier has not only provided me with the fitness knowledge of a personal trainer, but also the nutrition advice and guidance that are absolutely critical if you want to lose weight and/or get healthier. He is a health coach and trainer all in one, which is perfect for me.

He meets you where you are; he doesn’t expect that you will change your diet and lifestyle overnight. He believes that small changes are what work and what will stick with you, and my transformation is proof that he’s right.

Javier is always available to me by text or phone if I have a question or a worry, or if I just need someone to kick my butt into gear to get to the gym or not eat that donut. He checks in with you, and he really listens to what you’re saying. I feel he is truly invested in his clients’ success.
