The people who work in this store are so kind. I dropped off items to sell for the first time today, and they explained the process very well. Given the prices they sell items for in the store, the reimbursement I received for the items I sold today was reasonable. While I could have received more for the same items/brands on Poshmark/elsewhere, that comes with the hassle of managing the items individually and over a period of time (significantly more time and effort). I think the prices they offer in the store are also great for end customers and also good from an environmental/sustainability perspective. I also love how they donate items they are unable to sell and offer to donate any items they cannot take from sellers (e.g. ones that are out of season or style, etc.) to a Christian ministries donation center. This is a great business and with very kind and caring staff members.

I have enjoyed shopping here! They only accept items for sale that are in style and in good shape, so it's a pleasant experience to go through the racks. The shop is like a boutique atmosphere. The items I have found have become some of my favorites.

They also have a very organized way of buying your items if you take any to sell. Overall, very good shop! 5-star rating because their employees are really great!

This was my first time ever experiencing Clothes Mentor. Upon arrival, all employees had a smug, annoyed look on their faces when I walked in, as if I was bothering them. Once they half-heartedly greeted me, they explained rudely that because they were short-handed, my items would not be sorted until the following day. I made sure that all of my items were freshly laundered and in nice condition. Although I may have missed a blemish here or a small stain there, for the most part, most was like new or new with tags. When I went to leave the employees scoffed at me and my children as if we were not good enough to be in the store. Anyway, the next day, once I received the notification that my offer was ready, I went back with the expectation that they probably would not accept everything, but surely most of it. This time, there were 3 different employees, all middle-aged women who, again, had awful grimaces upon their faces as if I was bothering them. It took about 15 minutes for them to even locate my items. Once located, they had accepted 7 items out of about 50. One of ladies, who was not helping me, decided to chime in without invitation but with much sass and say “I went through your items personally. They were not accepted due to being well-loved, some with an odor, and others just because.” EVERYTHING WAS FRESHLY LAUNDERED. These people are so condescending and rude. They treated me like I was not good enough to be there. They all need to be severely humbled - you aren’t out here saving lives, you’re just reselling clothes. Get over yourselves. I will NEVER be back! Not to sell, not to shop, not to anything! Worst experience EVER. Do better Clothes Mentor.

This place is terrible for consignments! They take over five hours just to give you an estimate, only to reject your items. I brought in freshly washed clothes from brands like American Eagle, Lululemon, and other nearly new, quality pieces. I even had brand new Nike mids that cost me $300, and they still declined them. Don’t waste your time trying to sell your clothes here.

I was excited right away by the mannequins in front, and continued my little squeals of delight throughout the store. I love the way everything is organized, by section, sizing, and color… it makes for an aesthetic and very pleasant shopping experience. There is a good bit of variety here, and it’s curated nicely. The store isn’t too packed, yet offers so much for the budget conscious fashionista! Color me impressed ?
*this was my first time in store, and I both bought and sold/traded items for credit. The entire process was fairly straightforward and it was explained clearly throughout. I definitely recommend, especially if you love to rotate and swap out clothes regularly like I do!!
