MAY 2024: Out and about with the family, and we wanted a quick bite. This is probably the most convenient Tex-Mex food restaurant in the Great Lakes Mall (Mentor, OH) area.

We ordered 5 tacos, 3 pops (sodas), 1 traditional mojito, and tortilla chips with queso dip.. The Cali Green (ground beef) and Heater (steak) tacos were super tasty. The mojito was good, but not as potent as I would have liked. All in all, everything was good and the food arrived within 10 minutes of placing our order.

PROS:
* The ambiance is real chill. I enjoyed the local art that was painted onto the walls. The space is open and feels inviting.
* Food was good. It's not the greatest, but not the worst. However, it is leagues better than Taco Bell, but nowhere near comparable to authentic Mexican that my friends used to make.
* Pricing seemed fair. We paid $55 total for our bill and was full. Again, we ordered 5 tacos, 3 pops, 1 alcoholic beverage, and tortilla chips w/ queso dip.

CONS:
* The tortilla chips were super oily and cold. This gave the impression that they were prepared earlier that day and were at the bottom of the stack with fresher, newly fried chips tossed on top.
* The sun was shining brightly into our faces and we had to request for someone to pull down the windows shade. Not a major issue. The wait staff was very accommodating.

SUMMARY: This place is cool. I view it sort of a happy hour hangout spot. I would eat here again.

Food is always mid here. The chicken bacon ranch tacos tasted like straight salt dumped in a tortilla. The sweet heat and shrimp tacos were ok. The loaded tots were the star tonight. Margaritas are decent. Service is fine.

We come in often to place to go orders and Shelby has taken care of us everytime. I have food allergies and she is very knowledgeable and helpful. She also has a great persuasion! Today Jackie and Shelby were both working behind the bar and were very helpful and made us feel comfortable and taken care of!! Great food and great staff!

Always love finding new places to eat and Condado is quickly becoming a favorite! Love the food and atmosphere. Been to this one a few times now and haven't had a bad server yet. Today Brad made my Birthday lunch that much more special with his excellent customer service and great conversation!

It was my first time trying Condados & I loved everything about my experience. I can imagine they get very busy but we came here on a Saturday for an early lunch and it wasn't crowded thankfully.

I ordered a bowl that was delicious and very filling. I ended up needing a box and getting to enjoy the rest for dinner. Great portions and wonderful pricing for the food. The staff was really nice and attentive.

Everything from the appetizer, to our drinks and food made it out to us exactly as ordered and in a timely manner.

The margaritas are also super tasty with a good variety to choose from. I definitely recommend trying this at least once and I look forward to the next time I get to go here.

This place is always on top of it, great for a quick dinner out. The tacos are always to die for and the smoked queso is one of our go-to's.
