If you're looking for a warm, caring home for your senior loved one, Danbury Mentor is an excellent choice! The staff is truly dedicated, from the welcoming reception team to the directors, activity coordinators, nurses, and aides, and a wonderful chef. We explored numerous options in the Mentor area to find a place with a genuine at-home atmosphere, and this one stands out by far. My mother-in-law has been there since September, and we couldn't be happier!

We had an unfortunate incident with prescription ordering. There was a disconnect in communication with the person in charge. I wrote a review regarding this issue and someone promptly responded with the name and phone number of the Executive Director. She worked to immediately get it rectified. As far as caring, the nurses and aids who cared for my dad were nice and very kind. The place is very clean and never is there any kind of hospital or nursing home smell. The maintenance department is very helpful and so is the front desk. My dad liked the food as well. Open visiting hours were so helpful to us. It made things easier.

If you are looking for a caring, efficient and immaculate place to help and support your parents through the their "Winter years" of life... look no further than Danbury of Mentor. Unfortunately, we were only their a short time before our parents passed away. Wish we had found this place sooner. Care Patrol was the organization we used to put us in touch with Danbury of Mentor. Ashley, the director is so competent and caring. She not only physically assisted our parents, but was always there to support our family. When our parents needed someone to turn on their iPad, so we could FaceTime, Ashley made sure it was provided. We loved all the staff who worked with our parents, especially Heather... she couldn't have been more helpful to our parents as they needed more and more support. Even through the pandemic situation, they tried to provide the necessary compassion for their clients and their families. We were able to visit on the balcony with masks, etc. Even when my stepmother and father passed away, it was done with dignity and compassion. Danbury, Thank you for being their for us.

Great staff, so helpful to family members. My mom has dementia and has adjusted well. She loves the food and is more comfortable at Danbury than she was in her own home. They give a lot of attention.

The Director of Nursing, (Caitlin I believe) was very rude and disrespectful. I’ve never had a worse experience at a care center. Does not take accountability for her own actions. I understand having a bad day, but this was just out of hand. As someone who was going to look into admissions, I will not be returning.

Danbury of Mentor is a horrible facility whenever issues arise upper management has each other‘s back because they are all family members
